Three 2025 14th Region Outside Hitters to Watch

<p>During the 2021 high school volleyball season, the 14th Region featured several talented freshmen, some of whom are outside hitters.</p> <p>A look at three 2025 14th Region outside hitters to watch follows.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159354" first="Taylan" last="Hoskins"]</strong> is a freshman outside hitter from Perry County Central High School. Hoskins is a reliable hitter from the left side of the net who possesses strong jumping ability. Athletic, Hoskins works well with the middle hitter on blocks, delivering both offensively and defensively. </p> <p><b>[player_tooltip player_id="172935" first="Faith" last="Pollard"]</b> is a freshman outside hitter/middle hitter from Knott County Central High School. Pollard adjusts well to sets coming from any location and completes attack hits consistently. A versatile high school volleyball player, Pollard moves well to either side and closes blocks regularly. </p> <p><strong>Marlo Puckett</strong> is a freshman outside hitter/middle hitter from Estill County High School. Puckett adjusts well to sets coming from any location while possessing the ability to hit from both the front row and back row. Poised to take on a larger role for her team, Puckett can produce as a go-to hitter and a primary passer. </p>
