<p>Class of 2023 middle blockers will be among the top players for teams throughout Region 1 in the 2022 high school volleyball season. </p>
<p>A look at five 2023 Region 1 middles to watch follows. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="157442" first="Lillian" last="Burnett"]</strong> is a junior middle blocker/outside hitter/defensive specialist from Carlisle County High School. Burnett is among the most versatile players in Region 1. Quick and athletic, Burnett is highly productive with the ability to control the middle of the net in addition to other areas of the court.</p>
<p><strong>Jaaliyah Biggers</strong> is a junior middle blocker from Paducah Tilghman High School. Agile, Biggers moves well from side to side and executes quick attacks routinely. Aggressive at the net, Biggers blocks well, both individually and with teammates. </p>
<p><strong>Alyssa Daughrity</strong> is a junior middle blocker from Murray High School. Daughrity possesses solid jumping ability and sets up blocks consistently. A reliable blocker, Daughrity provides a strong presence along the middle of the net. </p>
<p><strong>Ally Dietsch</strong> is a junior middle blocker from Carlisle County High School. Dietsch reads the setter successfully and adjusts her approach to get the most out of attacks. Among the leaders for her high school team, Dietsch produces both defensively and offensively. </p>
<p><strong>Anna Fowler</strong> is a junior middle blocker from Graves County High School. Fowler thrives as a blocker along the middle of the net and has displayed the ability to strike quickly routinely. The junior from Graves County elevates well at the net. </p>
