<p>How players handle adversity often defines their character. The good ones put issues off the court and do what it takes to help teams win often with the help of teammates and close ones. For club ball, those issues could be overcoming long road trips or in this case, some came into the weekend off spring break. These five put any issues they may have had aside and performed well for their respective clubs on Friday in Louisville.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Haislip (pictured) distributes the ball well for the 15 Purple T team. She sees the defenses then has uses good footwork to get in position to make crisp passes. Haislip displayed her ability to execute a variety of sets including back sets with little lean. Haislip has made strides as a six-rotation player after playing primarily the back row as a freshman at Lincoln County in the fall. Haislip made a number of smooth first touches helping the 15 Purple T team go 3-0 in the 15 Classic Division. Haislip said she's been trying to find ways to keep getting better, noting it boosts her confidence when she sees her hitters take big rips.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Luperchio made plenty of smooth first touches to help 14 Blue to a 3-0 day in the 14 Club Division. Luperchio moves her feet well before planting then making smooth first touches. She is not afraid to dive, but only if necessary, yet maintains sound ball control. Luperchio uses her hands when making out of system sets so teammates can take quality swings. Luperchio has a bright future ahead of her for the Jaguars with her work ethic.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Warren uses her versatility well for 15-1. The lefty sends hard spikes down the lines and other places giving opponents somethng extra to consider. Warren does a variety of sets including back sets with not much lean, trying to make blockers guess where balls are going. Warren made nice first contacts on balls and puts good topspin on balls.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Hazelbaker has turned into a solid six-rotation player for 15-1 Elite. Hazelbaker makes nice adjustments while balls are in the air to take sound swings. Hazelbaker has good spacing near the net and a great follow-through on her swings. Hazelbaker has turned into a nice six-rotation player making sound first contacts. Hazelbaker mixes in nice off shots to keep defenders guessing.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Reid did what she could for a short-handed A.72 team that has several players out on spring break so Reid and some of the other 72 regulars played with teammates from other Alpha squads. Reid made plenty of quality first touches trying to track down balls like crazy. Reid is coachable and continuously encourages her teammates.</p>
