10 Players to Know Heading into Battle in the Valley

<p>The club season has FLOWN by, and now we are at the end of April. Crazy how fast it goes! Battle in the Valley will be held this weekend in Appleton at the Champions Center with stacked divisions at the 15s, 16s, and 17/18s age levels.</p> <p>Here are 10 players to know heading into the Battle in the Valley.</p> <h3><img class="alignleft wp-image-166532 size-thumbnail" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pd/uploads/2021/11/100-Malayna-Dins-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150" />[player_tooltip player_id="122463" first="Malayna" last="Dins"] – Impact 16 National – Outside Hitter – 2024</h3> <p>Malayna is a high-flying and powerful pin who has an explosive approach and a wicked strong arm swing. She goes big with her swings and her aggressiveness at the net earns her team a lot of points. She is a great athlete and can really power the ball down.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="178232" first="Morgan" last="Stewart"] – FC Elite 15 White – Outside Hitter – 2025</h3> <p>Morgan is an impact athlete because she brings a ton of energy to the court in addition to being a very strong player. She is a leader and communicates incredibly well. As a hitter, she is aggressive, finds great shots, and is not afraid to take risks.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="181810" first="Grace" last="Fruzen"] – FC Elite 16 White – Setter/Right Side – 2024</h3> <p>Grace is a solid and consistent all-around athlete. She has clean hands as a setter and moves the ball around very well. She utilizes each of her hitters and knows their strengths. Grace also is a solid hitter as well. She can swing across the net and has a nasty line shot that earns a lot of points. She has a great vertical and executes well. Brynn thrives in tempo plays and is quick on the court. She is aggressive at the net and has a toolbox of shots to utilize. She puts up a consistent block. Ellieana is also great defensively and on serve receive. She has a lot of potential and is already making a big impact.</p> <h3>[player_tooltip player_id="178285" first="Ava" last="Van Camp"] – Impact 15 National – Libero – 2025</h3> <p>Ava has impressed this season. She is very consistent on serve receive and picks up a lot of balls in the back row. She covers very well and is disciplined in her movement. Ava is a scrappy and gritty athlete who has good court awareness.</p>
