<p>Freshmen were along the underclassmen contributing for teams throughout the 15th Region during the 2021 high school volleyball season.</p>
<p>A look at five 2025 15th Region players to watch follows. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159393" first="Grace" last="Clark"]</strong> is a freshman setter from Pikeville High School. Highly productive throughout her freshman campaign, Clark possesses strong communication skills and is a vocal leader. An accurate passer, Clark runs the offense successfully and makes quick decisions on the court routinely. </p>
<p><strong>Jerri Hatfield</strong> is a freshman defensive specialist from Floyd Central High School. Hatfield is a productive back row hitter who digs and pursues well. Athletic, Hatfield covers the floor extensively and has displayed the ability to contribute from various parts of the court. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159344" first="Christian" last="Howell"]</strong> is a <span style="font-size: 1rem;">freshman defensive specialist from Betsy Layne High School. Howell possesses solid back row skills which allow her to thrive defensively. Agile, Hatfield moves well from side to side and has shown the ability to make challenging digs. </span></p>
<p><strong>Jaycie Stanley</strong> is a freshman outside hitter from Phelps High School. Stanley possesses strong communication skills and can deliver as a go-to hitter. Quick-reacting, Stanley adjusts well to sets coming from any location while being able to play from both the front row and the back row. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159374" first="Hanna" last="Steffey"]</strong> is a freshman outside hitter/opposite hitter from East Ridge High School. Steffey can hit from either side of the net and digs for quick attacks regularly. Able to elevate well at the net, Steffey is a reliable hitter. </p>
