Upstart high school volleyball players contributed for teams throughout Region 7 during the 2021 high school volleyball season.
A look at five 2025 Region 7 players on the rise follows.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159345" first="Caroline" last="Bates"]</strong> is a freshman outside hitter/middle hitter from Christian Academy of Louisville. Versatile, Bates can produce from the left side of along the middle of the front row. Bates boasts a solid all-around skill set.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159350" first="Elise" last="Hart"]</strong> is a freshman middle blocker from Sacred Heart Academy. Hart blocks well, both individually and with the outside hitter and the opposite hitter. A player on the rise, Hart has shown the ability to read the setter accurately and execute quick attacks on offense.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id='210632' first='Kayla' last='Hoagland']</strong> is a freshman setter from Portland Christian School. Hoagland is a vocal leader who possesses strong communication skills. Able to run the offense successfully and deliver defensively, Hoagland is a precise passer.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159406" first="Ava" last="Hollis"]</strong> is a freshman outside hitter from Seneca High School. Hollis has displayed the ability to excel in both the front row and the back row. A productive hitter, Hollis possesses strong jumping ability and elevates well at the net.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159351" first="Anna" last="Powell"]</strong> is a freshman outside hitter from Sacred Heart Academy. Powell is a reliable hitter poised to take on a larger role for Sacred Heart Academy in the 2022 high school volleyball season. Agile, Powell reacts well to sets coming from any location and completes attack hits frequently.
