The JVA World Challenge is one of the biggest volleyball tournaments in the country and 13 teams will represent Badger Region across 4 different divisions. The teams going have a lot of talent and the weekend will be filled with awesome volleyball.

Here are the top 15s teams to watch at the JVA World Challenge.

FC Elite 15 Navy – 15 Open Division

This team has had a lot of success this season. Setters [player_tooltip player_id="178227" first="Alexa" last="Hernandez"] and [player_tooltip player_id="178226" first="Madison" last="Tripp"] run a fast and efficient offense. [player_tooltip player_id="178223" first="Teegan" last="Charapata"] and [player_tooltip player_id="178228" first="Ava" last="Reis"] are solid pins who manufacture points for their team. [player_tooltip player_id="178231" first="Campbell" last="Onell"] is explosive and manufactures points no matter where she is on the court. Libero [player_tooltip player_id="178225" first="Jumana" last="Martin"] has great ball control and is very impactful on serve receive. This team plays cohesively and with a lot of energy. They give everything they have on every single point which is amazing to watch.

Wisconsin Ice 15 National – 15 Open Division

This team has a lot of depth. They have multiple athletes that can run as a setter or libero which makes them dynamic and able to adjust easily. [player_tooltip player_id="178253" first="Makenna" last="Rettler"] is a fierce setter who gets her hands on every ball her team puts up. [player_tooltip player_id="178254" first="Lily" last="Shields"] is a scrappy and solid libero who runs the backcourt. Both Makenna and Lily can switch out as either libero or setter. Pin hitter [player_tooltip player_id="178255" first="Ryden" last="Lehrke"] has a huge vertical and fast snap on the ball. Fellow pin, [player_tooltip player_id="178256" first="Kalyn" last="Schueller"] hits well both in and out of system and is effective in transition. She is great at hitting deep shots.

1W Bay 15 Mizuno – 15 Premier Division

This team has been highly competitive all season. They earned an American Bid at the Northern Lights Qualifier and recently won the silver division at Badger Region Champs in the Open division. Pin hitter Amber Otto is powerful and smart. She manufactures points and is consistent and reliable in pressure situations. Fellow pin hitter Kendra Shimon is solid in all six rotations and deceivingly good on defense. Libero Braylin Bosetski is scrappy and quick in the back row. Middles Cassandra Arndt and Chloe Parker are solid middles who are impactful on both offense and defense.

RVA 15 Navy – 15 Premier Division

The core of this RVA team has been together for several years. They have good chemistry, and it shows on the court. Setters Keira Robidoux and Lucia Brown run the court well and have great connections with their hitters. All of the pins on this team are very impressive including [player_tooltip player_id="178336" first="Maddie" last="Kowske"], [player_tooltip player_id="178329" first="Kaylen" last="DiBrito"], and [player_tooltip player_id="185618" first="Katlyn" last="Tarkowski"]. All of them are smart and powerful. Libero Emma Groff and defensive specialist Megan Johnson run the back row and rarely let a ball drop.

Motion 15 Blue – 15 Premier Division

This Motion team is impressive. They have had a very successful season and a lot of their success can be attributed to their consistent and aggressive serving and their defensive ability to keep the ball in system nearly all of the time. [player_tooltip player_id="178257" first="Alexis" last="Gardner"] leads the back row and is impressive in every aspect of the game. Setters [player_tooltip player_id="178258" first="Delaney" last="Eldridge"] and [player_tooltip player_id="178261" first="Sylvia" last="Marlock"] have great ball control and work to get their hands on every ball. Outside hitters [player_tooltip player_id="178259" first="Shelby" last="Fabbri"] and Samantha Schultz both typically run in all six rotations because they are dynamic and consistent in all of their skills. [player_tooltip player_id="178260" first="Ella" last="Heideman"] is a lefty right side who is powerful and can manufacture points.

Impact 15 National – 15 Club Division

This Impact team improves every time I have the opportunity to see them play. [player_tooltip player_id="178283" first="Ava" last="Lee"] is a talented setter who runs the court well and is a confident leader. She is smart with her choices and is always giving everything she’s got. Libero, [player_tooltip player_id="178285" first="Ava" last="Van Camp"] is scrappy and gets great touches on even the toughest balls. Pins [player_tooltip player_id="178281" first="Alayna" last="Geiser"] and [player_tooltip player_id="178288" first="Ava" last="Zahn"] bring power and consistency to the front row. Middle blockers [player_tooltip player_id="178279" first="Megan" last="Anderson"] and [player_tooltip player_id="178286" first="Sadie" last="VandenLangenberg"] work to put up a consistent block and get a lot of touches on the ball.

Other Badger Region 15s Teams Attending:

Capital 15 Adidas - 15 Premier

RVA 15 Pink - 15 Premier

MVP 15 Silver - 15 Club

1W Point 15 Momentum - 15 Classic

Capital 15 Navy - 15 Classic

Epic 15 Black - 15 Classic

Epic 15 Royal - 15 Classic
