I have watched Ava Van Camp Ava Van Camp 5'6" | OH Brillion | 2027 State WI her entire club career as well as playing for Kimberly High School. She will be heading to UW-Oshkosh down the road where she will look to continue the recent success of the Titans. Van Camp brings a great vibe to the court where she has positive energy and a confidence that is contagious. Her consistency is what really propels this team. Her Spiketown 18.1 team claimed a bid to nationals in Salt Lake City by finishing runner up in the 18 American Division at the Northern Lights Qualifier.

Ava Van Camp Ava Van Camp 5'6" | OH Brillion | 2027 State WI finished her career this fall with plenty of digs while suiting up for Kimberly. She is heading to UW-Oshkosh next season to join one of the top D3 programs in the country. She has been a key player for Spiketown the past two seasons where she anticipates well, has a well controlled platform, and is efficient with her footwork. Her first contact will be key for Spiketown heading into the Resolution.

Ava made quite the jump in the rankings from 63rd to 52nd. Her court awareness and reaction time have been at the forefront of her improvement. She has always made great touches on defense, but they are finding the target more and more often against tougher hitters. Not only has she kept pace with the faster offenses but she has also improved the non-tangibles of her game.

Ava is a master at run-throughs. She truly only hits the ground when it is necessary. She hustled more than nearly anyone that attended the showcase and ran down some very challenging balls. Her form is clean, and her court awareness is next level. I have had the opportunity to see her play before, but she really filled up my notes app at the showcase.

Van Camp has made some really great improvements over the season and really I would expect nothing less with a coach like former Lakeland men’s Libero, Rocky Koenig. Her reaction time along with her ability to take care of the deep corner with her hands can frustrate attackers. Van Camp is steady and consistent for her Impact squad.

Ava is a very talented libero. She is scrappy, aggressive, and fearless. When Ava is on defense, she is all over the court. She makes great plays and is a consistent force in the back row. She is a player on the rise in her class and will be an impact player at the Battle at the Bay.

Ava was super aggressive on defense. At one point, I made a note about her from two courts away because she caught my eye on a great defensive play. She will go for any ball on the court and can run down shanked passes by her team. No ball is ever dead when she is in the back row.

Ava is an athlete I have had the opportunity to watch play several times. She has earned a lot of court time both on her high school and club teams. She has a great first touch and never backs down on big plays.
