CEVA Regionals: 2023 Standout Passers

<p>The culminating event for the CEVA season is the Regional tournament. All teams participating in CEVA Power League compete for their final standing of the season. She has really come into her own this season, becoming a commanding presence in the back row. They rely on her to control the back row as their primary libero. After making the move, she has made an immediate impact on the court for the NPJ 17 National team. Taking over as the primary libero, Cheung plays with confidence in her ability to put up a settable ball. She was a major pick-up for the Aspire NW 17-1 team, seeing court time as the team’s libero. Hale is disciplined on serve receive and plays all-out on defense. She made some amazing saves on the defensive end. More specifically, her coverage for the hitters was lights out. She was able to pick up tons of balls that deflected off the block. She played some outstanding defense and serve receive. As a 2023 playing among some very elite 18s, she excels at the libero position. She had a very consistent weekend at Regionals, showcasing exceptional ball control. Her coach gave her the nod that she truly plays like a veteran. </span></p>
