[player_tooltip player_id="108433" first="Stella" last="Winterfeld"] - Western Christian - Kairos (SD)

Outside Hitter

Committed to South Dakota State

Winterfeld has had a huge year where she has soared up the rankings and most recently committed to South Dakota State. She continues the legacy of top players coming out of Western Christian where she was a 1st Team All State pick in 2021. This past club season she was on the Kairos 18 Adidas team out of Sioux Falls that finished third in the USAV Nationals 18 American Division. Winterfeld is a six rotation outside who can serve receive, pass, and attack out of multiple positions in the front row. The other side of the net has to know where she is at all times.

[player_tooltip player_id="108438" first="Madeleine" last="Miller"] - Mount Vernon - Adrenaline

Setter

Committed to New Mexico

Miller is long, athletic, and a true quarterback as one of the top setters out of Iowa's Class of 2023. A New Mexico commit, Miller will be looking to lead Mount Vernon back to the state tournament where they will be one of the favorites in Class 3A. Miller was a 2021 1st Team All State pick where she can dish to all attackers with pin point location and also be an offensive threat at the net. She also has a major presence at the net with her block, a true gamechanger.

[player_tooltip player_id="79689" first="Shelby" last="Kimm"] - Iowa City Liberty - [program_tooltip program_id='431948' first='Iowa' last='Rockets']

Outside Hitter

[caption id="attachment_193997" align="alignright" width="389"] [player_tooltip player_id="79689" first="Shelby" last="Kimm"][/caption]

Kimm has been able to play multiple positions for Iowa City Liberty, one of the top Class 5A teams in 2021. This past club season she has really skyrocketed as a six rotation outside hitter where she has shown she can score points in multiple ways with power and finesse from the pin and out of the backrow as well. She connects extremely well with South Dakota signee, [player_tooltip player_id="79714" first="Avery" last="Van Hook"] for their [program_tooltip program_id='431948' first='Iowa' last='Rockets'] 17R squad. With her skill set and frame, she has a huge ceiling of potential at the college level. However, Kimm and her Liberty teammates have some unfinished business to settle when Coralville will get to host the Iowa State Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id="135821" first="Amelia" last="Dugger"] - Decorah - CIA

Middle Blocker

Committed to South Dakota

Dugger has continued to improve each time she takes the court. A fast twitch, dynamic middle blocker, Dugger is able to transition and make herself available to attack and score points. She can be really dangerous off one foot where she has a fast arm and an explosive approach. This CIA 17 Black squad has a lot of weapons offensively and [player_tooltip player_id="79694" first="Nohea" last="Mahi"] running the show as their setter who is another big time prospect from the Class of 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id="108440" first="Averi" last="Weichers"] - Waverly-Shell Rock - Six Pack

Middle Blocker

I saw Weichers at the state tournament for WSR where she can a breakout performance in the quarterfinals in a five set thriller against Oskaloosa. Weichers had 14 kills, hitting .300, and five blocks. She had been a key piece to the Six Pack 17-1 squad who has a ticket punched to nationals in Indy later this summer. With plenty of length and athleticism, Weichers is a middle blocker who needs to be on the radar to plenty of college coaches.

[player_tooltip player_id="193194" first="Halle" last="Vice"] - Pleasant Valley

Outside Hitter

[player_tooltip player_id="193194" first="Halle" last="Vice"] has entered the chat as one of the top dual sport athletes in the state. This past school year she was 1st Team All State in volleyball and basketball. Pleasant Valley won the Class 5A state title in volleyball and a final four finish in basketball. Vice was key pieces for both of these teams and plays the game with such athleticism. Top setter in Class 5A, [player_tooltip player_id="17325" first="Kora" last="Ruff"], connected with Vice multiple times throughout the season and was essential in their run to the title. Vice has playmaking ability where she knows how to make something out of nothing.

[player_tooltip player_id="135830" first="Isabelle" last="Van De Wiele"] - Bettendorf - Iowa Select

Middle Blocker

Van De Weile can make quite the highlight reel out of the middle. At nearly 6'5, Van De Weile is touching above ten feet and can hit at some crazy angles. She was a key piece to the Iowa Select 17 Mizuno squad this club season and will be a major part of this Bettendorf squad where it will be a solid middle blocking duo between her and [player_tooltip player_id="193198" first="Lillie" last="Petersen"]. She could be a steal at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="193195" first="Berlin" last="Troendle"] - Waukon - Xtreme VBC (WI)

Middle Blocker

Troendle has been able to play in plenty Wisconsin events with her Xtreme squad out of La Crosse. The Waukon prep is extremely athletic and dynamic where she can do a lot of special things out of the middle. She is a hidden gem in Northeast Iowa that can do a lot of different things. Her upside is really high at the next level where she could even play on a pin and be a potential backrow player.

[player_tooltip player_id="193196" first="Jenna" last="Lansing"] - Beckman - CIA

Right Side/OPP

Having a lefty who can do a little bit of everything is pretty special and Lansing can do a lot of different things. Lansing is long and athletic where she can contact high and provide a really solid block on the right side. She was part of the Beckman state tournament team in the 2021 season and has been a key piece for CIA 17 Black. There is a lot of potential for Lansing to have a big senior season for the Blazers and would be a great pick up at the next level.
