Countdown to Nationals: 2 High-Level Programs

<p>Nationals start tomorrow! The next few weeks will be filled with great volleyball. Teams from across the country will be traveling to compete. Wisconsin boasts several awesome programs across the state. Two of the high-level programs from Wisconsin will be sending numerous teams that qualified to Indy.</p> <p>Both of these programs will be looking for big matches and big wins throughout the next few weeks.</p> <p>Let’s break them down!</p> <h3>FC Elite</h3> <p>After FC Elite 18 Elite took 3^rd in the Open division at USAV Nationals earlier this spring, the remainder of the FC teams will be hungry for wins. They are sending 9 teams, all of which are qualified. Their 13, 15, 16, and 17 Navy teams all qualified into the National Division. 12 Navy along with 14, 15, 16, and 17 White teams will compete in the American Division.</p> <p>All of their teams play at a very high level. 17 Navy has several big-time commits including <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91878" first="Paige" last="Miller"]</strong> (Committed to Ohio State), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="82921" first="Kaitlin" last="Schulz"]</strong> (Committed to UW-Green Bay), and more. Setters <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="119422" first="Alexandra" last="Kreutzmann"]</strong> (Committed to Eastern Tennessee State) and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91894" first="Rachel" last="Koss"]</strong> are both huge leaders on this team and run the ball at a very fast tempo.</p> <p>Other players to keep an eye on are <strong>Peyton Carlson</strong> (16 Navy, Class of 2026),<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="122566" first="Emerson" last="Van Lannen"]</strong> (16 Navy, Class of 2024), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178231" first="Campbell" last="Onell"]</strong> (15 Navy, Class of 2025), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178226" first="Madison" last="Tripp"]</strong> (15 Navy Class of 2025), and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178232" first="Morgan" last="Stewart"]</strong> (15 White, Class of 2025). All of their teams are filled with top talent and are looking to come home with some hardware.</p> <h3>Milwaukee Sting</h3> <p>Sting is sending 20 teams to USAV Nationals. That alone is impressive. Now consider that 17 of those teams qualified for a division. 13, 14, and 16 Gold all qualified in the Open Division. Another 4 teams qualified into the National Division.</p> <p>16 Gold has three nationally-ranked athletes in the class of 2024, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="122475" first="Anna" last="Bjork"]</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="122523" first="Claire" last="Luoma"]</strong>, and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="122568" first="Lilly" last="Wagner"]</strong>. They will be looking to play (and beat) the best teams in the nation with this powerhouse team. They also have the top two ranked athletes in the class of 2025 in Wisconsin, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178033" first="Madison" last="Quest"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178034" first="Gabriella" last="Pitcel"]</strong>.</p> <p>17 Gold has some huge commits including<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="91895" first="Molly" last="Berezowitz"]</strong> (Committed to Marquette), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="61781" first="Zoe" last="Behrendt"]</strong> (Committed to North Carolina), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="82901" first="Maddy" last="McGath"]</strong> (Committed to West Virginia), and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="82916" first="Sylvie" last="Zgonc"] (</strong>Committed to South Dakota State). This team will compete in the National division and be on the hunt for wins throughout the week.</p> <p>There are some really gritty athletes heading to Indianapolis representing Sting including <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91861" first="Samantha" last="Fisch"]</strong> (17 Black, Committed to UW-Parkside), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="149579" first="Ella" last="Kern"]</strong> (17 White), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="122479" first="Emily" last="Bruss"]</strong> (16 Black), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178032" first="Billie" last="Reiter"]</strong> (15 Gold), and<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="178031" first="Natalie" last="Powers"]</strong> (15 Gold).</p> <p>Some under-the-radar athletes who will have a huge impact for Sting include <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="91904" first="Aubrey" last="Berlowski"]</strong> (17 White), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="149590" first="Briella" last="Wrench"]</strong> (17 White), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="122577" first="Briana" last="Binagi"]</strong> (16 White), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178042" first="Ashley" last="Hutter"]</strong> (15 Black), <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178277" first="Madelyn" last="Marquardt"]</strong> (15 White), and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="178269" first="Paige" last="Boettcher"]</strong> (15 White).</p>
