A look at five 2024 16th Region outside hitters to watch follows.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158379" first="Taylor" last="Bartrum"]</strong> is a junior outside hitter/defensive specialist from Boyd County High School. Bartrum is a versatile player who possesses a diverse skill set. Athletic, Bartum elevates well at the net and finishes attacks regularly.
<strong>Josie Collins</strong> is a junior outside hitter/defensive specialist from Russell High School. Collins possesses solid jumping skills in addition to using athleticism to make an impact offensively and defensively. Agile, Collins is a consistent hitter and passer.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="158378" first="Leyla" last="Greene"]</strong> is a junior outside hitter from Rowan County High School. Greene adjusts well to sets coming from any location. Along with thriving from the left side of the net, Greene possesses solid back row skills, allowing her to contribute from various parts of the court.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id='479275' first='Reagan' last='Mackie']</strong> is a junior outside hitter/right side hitter from Raceland High School. A reliable hitter, Mackie can deliver from either side of the net. Mackie can be productive as both a go-to hitter and a primary passer from multiple positions.
<strong>Alexis Thompson</strong> is a junior outside hitter from East Carter High School. Thompson works well with the middle on blocks and reads the opponent's defense successfully. Quick, Thompson communicates well and hits consistently.
