<p>Multiple hitters are poised to be among the key contributors for teams throughout Region 1 in the 2022 high school volleyball season. </p>
<p>A look at five 2025 Region 1 hitters to watch follows. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="172958" first="Madeline" last="Gardner"]</strong> is a sophomore outside hitter from Hickman County High School. Gardner adjusts well to sets coming from any location and completes attack hits consistently. A reliable hitter, Gardner can deliver from both the front row and the back row. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159358" first="Addison" last="Hart"]</strong> is a sophomore outside hitter from McCracken County High School. Hart possesses strong jumping ability and thrives on the left side of the net. A highly productive hitter, Hart reads opposing defenses accurately and can deliver as a passer. </p>
<p><strong>Madison Mills</strong> is a sophomore middle hitter from Graves County High School. Mills is aggressive along the middle of the net, working well on blocks with the outside hitter and the opposite hitter. Agile, Mills moves well from side to side. </p>
<p><strong>Jayda Reed</strong> is a sophomore right side hitter from Paducah Tilghman High School. Versatile, Reed can excel on offense and defense. Reed can hit from both the front row and the back row in addition to digging for quick attacks. </p>
<p><strong>Amyah Smith</strong> is a sophomore right side hitter from Ballard Memorial High School. Smith hits consistently from various parts of the court and can set the ball if needed. A player who elevates well at the net, Smith digs for quick attacks regularly. </p>
