Five Versatile 2025 11th Region Players On the Rise

<p>Several versatile sophomores will be among the key contributors for 11th Region teams during the 2022 high school volleyball season.</p> <p>A look at five versatile 11th Region sophomores on the rise follows. </p> <p><strong>Kendall Cook</strong> is a sophomore middle hitter/defensive specialist from Frankfort High School. Cook is agile and moves well from side to side. Able to execute quick attacks regularly, Cook reads the setter accurately and adjusts her approach to get the most out of attacks. </p> <p><strong>Nakari Ellington</strong> is a sophomore outside hitter/middle hitter from Henry Clay High School. Ellington elevates well at the net and provides strong swings. Able to hit and block consistently, Ellington produces regularly along the front row. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159356" first="Grace" last="Gossett"]</strong> is a sophomore defensive specialist/setter from Lafayette High School. Athletic, Gossett is quick and covers the court thoroughly as a defensive specialist/setter. A talented back row hitter, Gossett’s skill set allows her to dig and pursue well. </p> <p><strong>Laurae Heady</strong> is a sophomore setter/defensive specialist from Franklin County High School. Heady possesses strong communication skills and defensive specials. A productive player at multiple positions, Heady directs the offense successfully and makes quick decisions routinely. </p> <p><strong>Reagan Martin</strong> is a sophomore outside hitter/right side hitter from Lexington Christian Academy. Versatile with a diverse skill set, Martin can deliver both offensively and defensively. Martin possesses solid jumping skills and can set if needed.  </p>
