This is one of my absolute favorite articles to write every year. As someone who still plays volleyball with my own sister, I love seeing sisters on the court together! It is always fun to put this article together and see what sister duos are dominating!

[player_tooltip player_id="122532" first="Annalise" last="Patchett"] (Outside, 2024) and [player_tooltip player_id="178238" first="Ava" last="Patchett"] (Setter, 2025) – Fox Valley Lutheran

These sisters are both very talented. Annalise is an explosive pin hitter who can play in all six rotations. She is powerful and makes great decisions on offense. Ava is very athletic and has great hands. Both are great assets to the FVL volleyball program!

[player_tooltip player_id="181812" first="Faith" last="Hudson"] (Middle, 2024) and Mia Hudson (Outside, 2026) – Pewaukee

The Hudson family is very athletic. Faith has really developed into an aggressive and quick middle who gets her hands up on everything at the net. She also has a ton of power. She earns a lot of points for her speed and quick execution of the ball. Mia is an up-and-coming pin hitter who is very well-rounded in her skills. She can play on either pin and is playing with the Badger Region High-Performance team as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="91940" first="Annika" last="Braund"] (Outside, 2023) and [player_tooltip player_id="181818" first="Jozie" last="Braund"] (Outside, 2024) – Sauk Prairie

Annika and Jozie are two pins you shouldn't mess around with. They both are lethal on offense and very talented defensively and on serve receive as well. They can both play all six rotations and are a dynamic duo on the court. I loved watching them interact and support each other throughout the tournament.

Lucy Freiss (Libero/DS, 2024) and Ruby Freiss (Setter, 2026) – Waukesha West

Lucy and Ruby are both very solid. They have great fundamentals and execute well on the court. Lucy is a libero who impresses on serve receive and has great court awareness. Ruby is a young athlete who has clean hands and good footwork to the ball. She will be fun to watch grow throughout her volleyball career!

[player_tooltip player_id='445384' first='Gillian' last='Jannazzo'] (Libero/DS, 2024) and [player_tooltip player_id="209368" first="Mia" last="Jannazzo"] (Outside Hitter, 2026) – Waukesha West

Gillian and Mia are another Waukesha West sister duo. Gillian is scrappy and aggressive in the back row. She will hustle for every ball and will always put in 100% effort. She makes a lot of great plays. Mia is also very defensively strong and has a great vertical and arm swing. She executes well on the pin and has the potential to play all six rotations.

[player_tooltip player_id="119428" first="Mikaela" last="Marquardt"] (Libero/DS, 2023) and Madelyn Marquart (Setter, 2025) – Kewaskum

Mikaela and Madelyn caught my eye and were in my notes before I even knew they were sisters. They both play key roles on the Kewaskum team. Mikaela clearly has high-level experience on the court. She is a leader in the backcourt. Madelyn moves the ball around really well and has really clean form. She made smart decisions throughout the tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id="178382" first="Karissa" last="Rettler"] (Libero/DS, 2023) and [player_tooltip player_id="178253" first="Makenna" last="Rettler"] (Setter, 2025) – Tri-County

The Rettler sisters are another fun duo to watch play together. They both have a great court presence and are leaders on their team. Karissa is a scrappy yet consistent force in the back row. Makenna is the offensive leader on the team and has very solid form. She pushes the ball well and makes smart decisions.
