Annika seems to have exploded onto the scene in the last year. I had the opportunity to see her play at the Prep Dig Sizzle then again at the WIAA State Tournament. She was a leader on the court, explosive in her play, and consistent in all of her skills. She impressed in all six rotations and was an energizer on every play. She is another athlete who made a huge jump in this rankings update from 165 to 48. Annika was named to the WIAA All Tournament Team, led her team to a State Runner-Up title, earned unanimous First Team All State honors and also was voted to 1st Team All Conference and won All Conference Co-Player of the Year.

Anni was dynamite in the championship match. She got half of her teams hitting attempts and earned 21 kills while maintaining a hitting percentage of 0.269. She also was key on defense and serve receive for Sauk Prairie. Anni is a very competitive and passionate athlete who manufactured points throughout the tournament and impressed in every rotation.
