Argyle

Olivia Sanchez
The 5’9″ Sanchez has been Argyle’s top scorer at the start of the season, having registered as many as 59 kills in just 20 sets. The outside hitter is very explosive and intelligent with her offense, but is also a very complete player and has been making a very positive impact in the team’s defensive system, ranking second in digs (75) and passes (88).

Mickenheim is back with her high school team after a stellar club season with Excel, which ended with her representing the North Texas region at the USAV All-Star Championships. Electric on the court, the 5’3″ libero is one that will put up huge numbers and won’t feel the pressure regardless of how high the stakes are when she’s on the court. In just 20 sets, she’s already produced 145 digs and 105 passes.

The 5’8″ Payne completes Argyle’s big three with her highly-productive and impressive game as the team’s setter. She looks even better in her second season as a starter and has been tremendously productive very early in the season for the Eagles, having amassed 117 assists and 51 digs so far.
Weatherford
One of the top players in the entire state, the 6’3″ Hansen is back for a final season with the Kangaroos. Capable of dominating the game on both sides of the ball, she’s a game-changer with her rare combination of size, skill and a high volleyball IQ. Hansen was incredibly productive last season, registering 455 kills, 149 blocks, 374 digs, 481 passes and 46 aces.
Riess Griffith

The 5’11” Griffith was the one player in Weatherford’s roster to have more kills than Hansen at 516. Very long and athletic, she’s the player you want on the ball when the game is on the line because she’s capable and brave to put it on the floor. Griffith is extremely well-rounded too and also plays an important role in the backcourt for the team, having tallied 267 digs and 341 passes in the last campaign.
Avree Hudson
Avree Hudson
After splitting the setting duties with Caitlyn Benson last year, Hudson is flying solo this season and there’s no question she’s absolutely ready for the task. The 5’8″ playmaker is very consistent with her locations and is also very active on defense, standing out in more than one way for the Kangaroos. She ended last season with 537 assists, 214 digs and 18 aces.
