Two more position groups to go for the updated class of '23 rankings. In this author's opinion, today's installment is the most important position to field at the next level. Here are five setters that are still looking for a home for the fall of 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='85907' first='Mallory' last='Dills'], 5-9, Cathedral

From perennial powerhouse Cathedral comes a Munciana-trained, high volleyball IQ setter that can run her own offense, thankyouverymuch. Capable of running a faster-than-average offense and one of the better defending setters in this class, Mallory has known nothing but winning in club ball while playing mostly open-level competition. Miss Dills also plays bigger than her size, and can frustrate opposing outsides thinking there is no block.

[player_tooltip player_id='104935' first='Olivia' last='Nelson'], 5-8, Westfield

Of the twenty-plus players that came to Academy's summer league, Olivia might be the most intriguing to the Shamrocks' success. She's seen more training in club ball than in high school, and has the ability to be anything from a 5-1 setter to being part of a 6-2 setting tandem, to even being a right back defender, depending on your team's needs. Here's to hoping that her extensive club training will help her high school squad move a little further in the "sectional of death".

[player_tooltip player_id='85923' first='Delaney' last='Seaman'], 5-11 RS/S, Brebeuf

Delaney is from a family of setters (Miami (OH) and Ball State are stops for her family to play), but can also spend time as a right side that can terminate. With a state title already on her mantle, Miss Seaman is probably looking for the best fit that can not only feed her desire to run an offense, but be an aggressive attacker as well. Her volleyball acuity is through the roof, and she knows nothing except winning at every level since I've seen her play.

[player_tooltip player_id='99585' first='Monica' last='Jones'], 5-8, Roncalli

One of a pair of setting possibilities at Roncalli, Monica is the unassuming, get-the-job-done type of setter that is steady, reliable, and locates exceptionally well, regardless of where the pass is. She's played every position from running a 5-1 to being one of the setters in a 6-2 to being a right back defender at times. Quiet leadership is what you get from Monica, a trait that is less and less common in the modern era of athletics.

[player_tooltip player_id='114356' first='Macie' last='Bowden'], 5-7, Wapahani

Always locating the ball well and always finding the right hitter, Macie is the fiery setter that seem to dot the landscape here in Indiana. She's fast-footed, high-handed and can get to a lot of passes bigger setters can't get to. Additionally, she's only known winning, and should look to do more of the same as her high school squad moves down to class 2A to beat up on some teams.
