High School Team Feature – Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs

Let's take a look at the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs this time.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"large"} --> <p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>The Squad</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fort Bend Austin's main departures after last season came at the outside hitter position with the graduations of Gabby Johnson and Kemi Ikemefuna. The decision to move middle blocker [player_tooltip player_id='124154' first='Adell' last='Murray'] to the pin helped the Bulldogs even things as she's now paired with the explosive Carli Banks. Extremely technical and consistent with her locations, she makes her hitters' lives easier with her sets. The 5'9u0022 Paulino is very intelligent with the ball in her hands and normally makes good decisions, frequently sharing the ball among her hitters fairly evenly. She's been doing pretty well in the new position and quickly became the team's go-to scoring option. Muray has excellent reach on her offense and tremendous power on her right arm. She can hit from the right too and has been impressively consistent, making very few mistakes. Harris is also fairly versatile offensively, being able to hit hitter sets or quick tempos behind the setter.
