We always get excited about updating our rankings! We get some movement of players moving up based on outstanding seasons or players entering the rankings for the first time. Our latest update is after watching more volleyball than we can fathom over the last six months. This is our top 10 and they are a good 10. The headliner is recent Arizona commit [player_tooltip player_id='119226' first='Carlie' last='Cisneros'] at number 1.

This isn't an easy process and players get missed. Our friend at Prep Dig, Chris Fitzgerald posted a great article sharing what goes into our ranking system here. Our rankings don't dictate future success as a volleyball player or person. These rankings are subjective, but we feel we are on the right track with the hours spent dedicated to this process. I want to add our state rankings don't reflect our first attempt at national rankings. Locally, we see many of these players more consistently and a player can be ranked ahead of someone in our rankings and they aren't in the national rankings.

1. [player_tooltip player_id='119226' first='Carlie' last='Cisneros'] - OH - Liberty North/Dynasty - Arizona

In our opinion, an easy pick for number 1 with the do it all Cisneros. She scores, she passes, she digs, she blocks...all at a high level.

2. [player_tooltip player_id='124216' first='Claire' last='Morrissey'] - OH - St. Joseph/Rockwood - Missouri

Morrissey is one of those players others in the class don't see much due to playing up. She is another player who can do many things well from the pin. She will be keeping her talents in her home state, choosing Missouri.

3. [player_tooltip player_id='124215' first='Olivia' last='Hasbrook'] - L - Eureka/Rockwood - The Ohio State

Very rarely do we rank defenders this high but Hasbrook earns that honor with her level of play. Her game speaks for itself as she comes in at number 3. This summer she chose The Ohio State Buckeyes of the Big 10.

4. [player_tooltip player_id='124222' first='Allison' last='Risley'] - OH - Lafayette/Rockwood - Northern Kentucky

Risley continues to grow her game and she is one of the top pins in the state. She has an improved shot arsenal that allows her to score in more ways than in years past. She will play her college ball at Northern Kentucky.

5. [player_tooltip player_id='207276' first='Emma' last='Parker'] - Pin/MB - Eureka/HPSTL

Parker is a player we like due to her ability to swing from every position on the front row. We saw her in more passing opportunities this year which only strengthens her game and ranking.

6. [player_tooltip player_id='124226' first='Autumn' last='Bax'] - RS - Blair Oaks/Missouri Juniors

Bax is a player we saw last year and can only say she keeps getting better and better, as evidenced by helping her high school team to a state title. Her encore was coming back this summer making the USAV GJNC All-Tournament team for her club team. Small schools get overlooked sometimes, coaches better check her out.

7. [player_tooltip player_id='124850' first='Rilynn' last='Finley'] - MB/Pin - Republic/Apex - Missouri State

Like Bax, Finley is small school but Missouri State didn't waste time checking her out. If you haven't had a chance to see her play and question her ranking, watching her five minutes will show she's one of the elite players in the state.

8. [player_tooltip player_id='124849' first='Nadia' last='Wasilewski'] - OH - Jackson/HPSTL

Wasilewski is another name that may not be household but she makes things happen on the court and comes in at the 8th spot. She has a good frame and does many things well on the court. She can power through a block and switch it up with finesse.

9. [player_tooltip player_id='124219' first='Alyssa' last='Nelson'] - S - Wildwood/Rockwood

Nelson is fun to watch on the court and you saw her game continue to grow this spring. Her decision-making is what makes her the top setter in the class in our opinion. She finds the right match-ups and gets the ball to players when they are feeling it.

10. [player_tooltip player_id='150035' first='Audrey' last='Small'] - L - Fort Zumwalt West/HPSTL

The final spot in the top 10 goes to Small, another elite libero in the state. Like Hasbrook, everything starts with her in our opinion. Her passing is pinpoint and her defense is fearless.
