We love how enthusiastic these players are about their love for the game, and their willingness to put it all on the court and fill positions for their team when needed. Below we will highlight ten more athletes who have caught our attention and are putting in work this fall.
Lacey Tinnel – College Park
Lacey Tinnel has been exactly what College Park has needed this year. A dominant middle to come in and take charge and not be afraid of the 6A volleyball speed. Lacey is strong, fast, and aggressive on offense. She doesn’t back away from a tight ball and has really high volleyball IQ. She is getting quality play time at College Park and this allows her valuable touches and gets her ready to make an impact as she grows with the program.
Mia Crowley Mia Crowley 6'0" | RS Providence Classical | 2026 State TX – Providence Classical
First up is Mia Crowley Mia Crowley 6'0" | RS Providence Classical | 2026 State TX of Providence Classical in Klein, Texas. Pin hitter turned setter for her team, Mia has stepped up to run the offense for Providence, proving her incredible athleticism. While she’s not setting, she plays outside on the front row and can be lethal from there. Standing at 5’11, Mia is long and has a high reach. Accompanying that is her increasing verticle, which makes her a very solid blocker and effective hitter. Be on the lookout for her to make waves in her division.
Cali Reece – Grand Oaks
Cali Reece makes this volume for her stellar performance in last week’s district game where she had a pass rating of 2.63 as reported by her coach. This is just the tip of the iceberg for this defensive specialist. She is amazing in serve receive and very rarely errors. She also has a very good jump float serve and can often hit difficult spots on the court. We look forward to seeing her grow into a bigger role within her team.
Kiran Rio Kiran Rio 5'9" | OH St. John's | 2026 State TX – St. John’s
What I really like about St. John’s Kiran Rio Kiran Rio 5'9" | OH St. John's | 2026 State TX is her work ethic in improving all aspects of her game. She is a pin hitter no doubt, and she does a really good job for St. John’s in that position, but you can often see her playing defense in all three positions and serve receiving. While she doesn’t have a whole lot of height on her side, she has a very high reach and contacts the ball for a high snap, and she is able to produce well offensively. Keep an eye out for Kiran as she progresses, we could see a stud 6 rotation player develop.
Keoni Williams – Boswell
Keoni Williams is a high-flying middle for Boswell, who has already posted over 100 blocks for her freshman season. Standing at 6’4, Keoni has height on her side when it comes to blocking, but she is also aggressive at the net. She has a really good reach and presses over the net, and opposing hitters should definitely pay attention to her as she is in the top 5 for blocks in Region 1 1A-6A.
Skylar Jackson – Lovejoy
One of the most prominent outside hitters in the North Texas Region is Skylar Jackson. She plays for Lovejoy, which is a powerhouse in 5A volleyball. Skylar should fit right into this program because she plays with such intensity and passion. Standing at 5’11, she has a high contact point and absolutely crushes the ball on the outside when given a chance.
Julianna Hernandez – Frisco Memorial
Freshman Julianna Hernandez is no stranger to competition at this point. Playing Libero for Frisco Memorial as just a freshman is no small task. She is ranked 2nd digs among all passers in the district with 303 district digs. She has made some amazing reaction plays that got the ball playable for her team. She is also very calm in serve receive and is able to make great passes to target. Julianna is definitely one of the premier defensive specialists in the North Texas Region. Expect big things out of her.
Gaby Santiago – Oak Ridge
Gaby Santiago is a pin hitter in Spring, Texas, playing at Oak Ridge High School. Gaby makes the list for several reasons, but overall for being very skilled at all aspects of the game. She has a solid platform and makes great angle passes out of middle back. She serve receives decently, and is able to make great defensive saves with her long reach. You would not know Gaby stands at only 5’7, because of her incredible reach. Not only does she dig well but she can put a ball away on the outside, taking on the biggest block with no problems.
Lauryn Wiley – Shadow Creek
Another Houston area libero makes the list, Lauryn Wiley from Shadow Creek. Her serve receive is very controlled her platform is calm on touches. She is known for her defensive ability and aggressiveness. She also makes a great read on the ball, and you will have a hard time slipping anything by her. The backcourt for Shadow Creek will be locked down for the next 3 years with Lauryn leading the way.
Shayna Zammiello – S. A. Reagan
Shayna Zammiello is a stud defensive specialist out of the San Antonio area. She plays for Alamo volleyball and S. A. Reagan volleyball, which is having a great year. She can dig a hard-driven ball, and make it look easy. Her ball control is fantastic, from passing to digging and even setting and hitting. You will rarely see her make an error.
