Here at PrepDig, we are committed to covering and promoting as many prospects as possible, from the most popular names to the hidden gems that typically abound at the Lone Star State and during the high school season we’re also doing it by featuring the teams they play at.
Every time we’re at the gym, we take the time to give a good look at the teams on the court and we’ll try to feature as many as possible here in this space. Now it’s time we know more about the College Park Cavaliers.
The Squad
The Cavaliers had three key seniors departing at the end of last season in Paige Bernstein, Alexis McDaniel and Paige Palmer, but continue to have a very solid squad. The team has a solid outside hitter duo in Mallory Madison and Peyton Sedlacek, a rising star libero in Morgan Madison and one of the most promising class of 2026 prospects in middle Lacy Tinnell Lacy Tinnell 6'4" | MB College Park | 2026 State TX .
Key Players
Peyton Sedlacek
Peyton Sedlacek
An incredibly technically-gifted outside hitter, Sedlacek is very complete and is the kind of player that makes her teammates better with her ability to impact several areas of the game. Sedlacek is extremely well-versed on the backcourt, being also capable of playing as a defensive specialist, but also very effective at the net. She’s explosive and jumps wells and often makes good decisions on offense.
Tinnell should be one of the top freshmen in terms of making the most impact in their first season of high school volleyball in the entire state. Yes, her 6’4″ frame is a big factor when she’s on the court, but Tinnell’s game is surprisingly well-developed for a player of her age. She’s very mobile and has a good o understanding of the game, being more involved in plays than most freshmen middles would. Her offense is very potent as she has excellent power in her right arm, but also the maturity to hit at a very high level.
Highlights
Morgan Madison
Morgan Madison
After a solid freshman year and an excellent club season, Madison seems poised to compete toe-to-toe with the best liberos in the entire state. She’s extremely consistent and productive and uses her quickness and technical skills to make a huge impact on matches from the backcourt. An excellent defender, the 5’6″ libero is typically not targeted by opposing serves, but when one goes her way, she normally handles it perfectly.

Morgan’s older sister Mallory is also a key piece in College Park’s playing system. Her excellent technical skills and ball control make of her a great fit for the libero position, but she’s been playing at the pin for the Cavaliers with great success. The serve-receive system that features Sedlacek and the Madison sisters is certainly one of the main strengths of the team but Mallory has also proved to be an efficient player at the net, leading the team’s offense this season.
Cassidy Copeland
Cassidy Copeland
Copeland’s presence makes of the middle position another area of strength for the Cavaliers. Very dynamic, she’s a prolific hitter and blocker, making a great impact on the game. Offensively, one thing that stands out in Copeland’s game is how resourceful she is, a skill that gives her the ability to score even in difficult situations. Her blocking game is also very solid as she combines great mobility and an excellent technical gesture, placing her hands well across the net to put pressure on opposing hitters. She’s also one of the team leaders, frequently talking to and encouraging her teammates.
