[player_tooltip player_id='102557' first='Ava' last='Roth'] – 5'6” – 2023 – Jefferson

The Arkansas commit is one heck of a defender and is going D1 to play libero, but right now, she will continue to hit on the outside and does a tremendous job. Watch her defensively but keep an eye on her hitting the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='123465' first='Reese' last='Gray'] – 5'8” – 2023 – Lesterville

Gray is another impressive defensively player, but her powerful swings on the outside are what you notice. Moving up the MSHSAA record books for kills in a career is what you need to keep your eye on.

Dru Koetting – 5'7” – 2023 – Ste. Genevieve

Small but powerful is the best way to describe Dru, but her volleyball IQ is what sets her apart from her teammates.

Carly Long – 5'9” – 2023 – Dexter

Carly is a strong arm outside for the Bearcats that can hit on either pin and helps run the 6-2 offense. The Bearcats go as Carly goes.

Kaylee Ashabranner – 5'8” – 2023 – Gideon

Kaylee is the only returning starter from last year's 2nd place finish in Class 1. The lefty outside gives the Bulldogs enough offense to keep them a contender again this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='168914' first='Maddie' last='Ayers'] – 5'8” – 2023 – South Iron

Ayers does it all for the Class 1 4th place finisher from last year as she plays solid defense, but her hitting is what shines. She can hit on either pin or come in and hit out of the middle with the same results.

[player_tooltip player_id='168920' first='Jelena' last='Gray'] – 5'10” – 2023 – Farmington

Gray will give the Knights an edge in every match, not because she does a tremendous job of passing and playing defense, but because her right arm is lethal.
