Schoene came out and dominated against a very good Kalama team, posting 26 kills with the match going five sets and Kalama overcoming Schoenes big effort to win in 5 sets. Earlier in the week, Schoene posted double-digit kills and hit over .500 against Elma in a sweep. The La Center senior should continue to put up big numbers for the Wildcats this season.
Puyallup is looking to do big things and this sophomore setter is gearing up to lead the way. Leading the 5-1 offense for the Vikings, and working with a tall powerful set of hitters, Sheppard has averaged over 10 assists per set in the early season. She is dynamic, sending quick sets to the pin and finding her strong middles with well located balls. Her growth over the season running the team could make the difference as Puyallup challenges for a state trophy.

The Hanford Falcons started MCC play 3-0 and Sturing ahs been a difference maker for the Falcons on the outside. Her length has always been impressive, and she really worked hard against Walla Walla in transition and getting a big block in place. Several hard angle shots and deep corner swings helped the Falcons to a 5 set victory. She is now seeing court time in serve receive and athletically looks up to the task.
Bri Sackman
Bri Sackman
Sackman has emerged to help the Wenatchee squad looking for a state trophy this season. She has a hammer from the outside position and has not looked out of place in big games like the 5 set victory over Mt Si. It’s a consistent swing that does not produce many errors and adds a third threat to the returning pin attackers for the Panthers. She plays defense and reads well, getting off the net in transition to give her setter options in and out of system.

Quincy Moran Quincy Moran 6’0″ | OH North Creek | 2024 State WA has helped North Creek to an undefeated start, with statement wins over powerful Lake Stevens and defending state champs Bothell. The Jaguars rely on her to punish teams cheating to other attackers, and Moran has been delivering kill after kill from both pins. With excellent length and high contact point, she has been hitting over the block, not just around it this season.

Leilana Ama
Ama has committed to Chaminade, and is the undisputed senior leader for the Wildcats. She helped drive the young Mt. Spokane team to econg place to powerful Columbia River at the D-Fly Classic in Stanwood, and wind over Lewis and Clark and Gonzaga Prep. She is a complete player who also attacks at times from the right side, and is a tough server who an target any spots she want on the court.
