Our final installment of the regional previews, we must mention the "regional of death", where three of the top five teams in class 4A reside. We'll talk about the matchup, their records, and an uncommitted player that could be key in their respective squad's success.

Why not start out the day with the toughest regional semifinal matchup in 4A? Both of these teams sport outstanding lineups, with the latter being the biggest mentioned in all of 4A. The Chargers, with their only losses to 4A #2 Yorktown and 3A #3 Angola, have had a solid season, but may struggle with the size and transitional speed of the Royals. Freshman [player_tooltip player_id='227184' first='Bailey' last='Sinish'] ('26, 5-9 OH) is a rising star in the class of '26 that projects to be a solid six-rotation outside. I'm unsure, however, she's seen the size and experience that awaits her from HSE. After a season-opening loss to defending 4A champ McCutcheon, the Royals have won thirty (!!!) in a row and currently rank seventh nationally, and have some of the highest profile players in Indiana. [player_tooltip player_id='110501' first='Lauren' last='Harden'] ('24, 6-3 OH, Florida commit) and [player_tooltip player_id='93482' first='Avery' last='Hobson'] ('23, 6-1 OH, Duquesne commit) are the primary pin attackers everyone knows, and high-flying [player_tooltip player_id='153104' first='Breonna' last='Goss'] ('24, 5-11 MB, Duke commit) gets up quickly and makes bigger middles look slow. My uncommitted gem on this roster is [player_tooltip player_id='112085' first='Tiffany' last='Snook'] ('24, 6-2 MB), whose wiry frame and smooth athleticism should cause her to get the ball a ton to keep defenses from committing on the big pins.

Anyone that plays the Mavericks know what they're getting in the matchup. A steady diet of [player_tooltip player_id='85895' first='Chloe' last='Chicoine'] ('23, 5-10 OH, Purdue commit), with a side of [player_tooltip player_id='85895' first='Chloe' last='Chicoine'], followed by more Chloe. With 26 kills in a four-set win over the Royals to start their season, Chloe and her squad have come to play. [player_tooltip player_id='85926' first='Raegan' last='Burns'] ('23, 5-5 DS/L, Kansas commit) is a player you should avoid serving if you want a chance to win against the Mavericks. My uncommitted key is someone who has come on as of late in the form of sophomore middle [player_tooltip player_id='155214' first='Reanna' last='Lee'] ('25, 5-11 MB). I mentioned keeping teams honest defensively before, and Miss Lee should be the definition of that statement. Sporting a 26-match winning streak of their own, the Mavericks will have to get this meat-grinder of a regional just to get revenge for their lone loss against Yorktown. The Spartans should not be overlooked, however. They have a ton of size and skill of their own, led by [player_tooltip player_id='192114' first='Addy' last='Tindall'] ('25, 6-2 OH), who will get her fair share of attacks in this afternoon matchup.
