Denton Guyer

Denton Guyer looks to finish second in district play after getting ace [player_tooltip player_id='87534' first='Kyndal' last='Stowers'] back midway through the season. Senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='179112' first='Lauren' last='Schneider'] has been handling the offense just fine for Guyer, and she has serve received a lot this season as well. Libero [player_tooltip player_id='124158' first='Jordyn' last='Tynsky'] has been very good, especially recently. Guyer is dangerous because they seem to be getting in a groove of playing very well. [player_tooltip player_id='87534' first='Kyndal' last='Stowers'] is already averaging over 5 kills per set since her return. Guyer could easily come in and win their side of the bracket.

Byron Nelson

Byron Nelson and V. R. Eaton listed below are both in a gauntlet of a district. No one in that district is perfect, and several teams have tied records. They have 3 very good pin hitters who do it all, pass, dig and serve receive, and they do it well. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='141126' first='Samantha' last='Hoppes'], sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='180462' first='Sydnee' last='Peterson'], and freshman Kylie Kleckner make up those positions. If these three hitters are on, count yourself out. Byron Nelson may be a bracket-buster because of their overall offensive threat.

V. R Eaton

V. R. Eaton is in that same district as Byron Nelson and has secured their playoff spot. They make the list because they know how to pull off the upset, as they have this season and did last season during the playoffs. Eaton has junior middle blocker [player_tooltip player_id='203121' first='Kimaya' last='Webb'], who leads the team in blocks and hitting percentage. They also have senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='87536' first='Emily' last='Simmons'], who not only leads the team in kills but in digs as well. Eaton has a history of bracket busting and we could for sure see the same scenario play out this November.

Region 2

Wylie East

Wylie East is dangerous in the post-season this year because of their slew of younger players, primarily sophomores and juniors. These players can be dangerous for the sheer fact of they have no fear of the playoffs. Sophomore outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='183967' first='Julia' last='Hicks'] is leading in almost all stat categories and knows how to take over a game. Sophomore libero [player_tooltip player_id='206616' first='Jordyn' last='Wacaster'] is leading in digs, and middle blocker Erika Hernandez is leading the team in blocks. Wylie has a good chance on their side of the bracket to make some waves.

Horn

Horn is definitely on the bracket-busting list for their ability to make incredible athletic plays and their contagious energy. Senior libero Ryan Henderson has been phenomenal all year, as well as junior pin hitter Madison Mosley. Freshman Jaidyn Hartsfield is right behind her in total kills, but don't stop there, everyone in the Lady Jag's program can put a ball away. They are a high-energy, high-flying team that should not be taken lightly.

Bridgeland

Bridgeland volleyball may be a fairly new program in Texas, but they are no strangers to the high-stakes playoff game. Last year they were one of the biggest bracket busters, finishing 2nd in their district but making it all the way to the state tournament, beating two #1 teams on the way. Returning from that same team are all 4 pin hitters, Gracie Comeaux, [player_tooltip player_id='155122' first='Amelia' last='Creacy'], [player_tooltip player_id='87547' first='Kennedy' last='Kays'], and team kill leader Olivia Waggoner. They are VERY solid in the pin-hitting department. They are also getting really good results from both middle blockers Molly McClure and [player_tooltip player_id='187020' first='Rebekah' last='Pfefferkorn']. Bridgeland also returns libero [player_tooltip player_id='124159' first='Alice' last='Volpe'], who just recently committed to TCU. Bridgeland definitely makes the list for a bracket-busting team for their experience and being well-rounded in every position.
