Which team will survive and advance in District 7 of the top class? Here is our preview of the upcoming action.

Teams listed by seed: Lee's Summit West, Lee's Summit, St. Teresa's, Joplin, Lee's Summit North, Carthage, Raymore Peculiar, Raytown

Lee's Summit West vs. Raytown

Key Players: LSW; [player_tooltip player_id='493090' first='Kamryn' last='McDonald'], [player_tooltip player_id='216020' first='Ryanne' last='Wattree'], Aubrey Kohl. Raytown: No Available Information

West is another team who lost some important pieces a year ago and reloaded in 2022. McDonald stepped up to fill the scoring void along with Wattree. A deep district run could put Kohl over 1000 assists this season. They should have no problem with Raytown.

Joplin vs. Lee's Summit North

Key Players: Joplin; Bailey Owens, Jayla Hunter. LSN; Riley Deshay, [player_tooltip player_id='214759' first='Maddie' last='Sibbing'], Madilyn Benne

Joplin has hovered around the .500 mark this season and come in on a two-game losing streak. They hope to ride Bailey Owens's arm to the next round. Hunter has been a vacuum along the back row approaching 500 digs. The Broncos get tough competition week in and week out in a tough conference. Their record doesn't show it but Deshay and Sibbing may have enough left in the chamber to get a win. We will go with Joplin.

Lee's Summit vs. Raymore Peculiar

Key Players: LS; [player_tooltip player_id='99226' first='Ashlyn' last='Bellamy'], [player_tooltip player_id='123656' first='Jordan' last='Stout'], [player_tooltip player_id='219775' first='Brylee' last='Johnson']. Ray-Pec; [player_tooltip player_id='150027' first='McKenzie' last='Marsh']

The Tigers should easily get the first win out of the way. Bellamy is a top pin in the city. Stout affects matches with her defense. Ray-Pec is a young team that took some lumps this season. [player_tooltip player_id='150027' first='McKenzie' last='Marsh'] has been consistent this fall.

St. Teresa's Academy vs. Carthage

Key Players: STA; [player_tooltip player_id='101697' first='Reagan' last='Fox'], [player_tooltip player_id='123468' first='Brynne' last='McGhie']. Carthage; Riann Schwartz, Raven Probert

St. Teresa's schedule makes them dangerous in this district. [player_tooltip player_id='101697' first='Reagan' last='Fox'] is a stud and McGhie can dish with the best of them. Carthage depends on ball control and defense to get things in motion. We like STA.
