Blakeman made the jump to the Mavs this season and is still making noise on the right side. She has a wicked fast arm swing that delivers with force. She takes what the defense gives her; if they are late, she's tearing up the line. If the defense is there, she's working around them, finding the seams. The area I still see instant growth from a season ago is her blocking. She's a player with her size and skill set who will be on the radar of some coaches. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='747422' first='Collyns' last='Livermore'] - S/Pin - Shockwave 17-1 - 2029</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Livermore plays up on the 17 Shockwave squad and holds her own with her size and physicality. As a setter, she moves very well around the court and has great hands. Her set placement is superb, and she gives her attackers great balls to swing on. As a hitter, she also has a quick arm swing that allows her to beat the defeat. She can put balls down with the best of them. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Maggie Nash - LS/D - [program_tooltip program_id='515493' first='Club' last='North'] 16-1 - 2029</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another athlete playing up is Nash, a tough, hard-nosed libero from St. Thomas Aquinas. She controls the back row in the videos I've checked out with her ball control and defense. She moves very well laterally and has a quick step moving forward to take away tips and dumps. She was lights out at Music City, passing at around a 2.4 clip and averaging close to 6 digs per set.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
