Continue ReadingThe high school season is ramping up district play and there are some players that are scoring at will all over the court. These young ladies cannot be stopped. They are scoring in bunches for their varsity squads and no one has been able to slow them down. This series of articles will be highlighting players in every grade level who are filling up the stat books. This next article series will highlight the amazing freshman class and give props to the attackers who are leading the entire state in kills. Please help us recognize the following players.
Henley Anderson Henley Anderson 6'4" | OH Dripping Springs | 2026 State TX [2026] 6-2 Right Side/Outside (HS: Dripping Springs/Club: Austin Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Anderson is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays at Dripping Springs high school and also club for the always talented Austin Performance program. She is currently leading the state amongst all freshmen in kills. Henley has already tallied 391 kills on a very impressive .306 hitting percentage from both the left and right side position. She has the frame and power that college coaches will fall in love with. Her offensive arsenal is already at an elite level and she is just now getting started, which is very scary for opponents. We have been watching her for a while now and are eager to release the rankings with what we are seeing on the volleyball court from her. We think she has tons of potential to challenge for a top spot.
Kylie Kleckner Kylie Kleckner 6'0" | OH Byron Nelson | 2026 State TX [2026] 5-10 Outside (HS: Byron Nelson/Club: Texas Advantage /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Kleckner is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays at Byron Nelson high school and also club for the Texas Advantage Volleyball program. She has already tallied 366 kills on a great .240 hitting percentage and is showing that she belongs on everyone’s radar. She has some serious skills and lives above the net. I love how she takes a super hard rip on the ball from the left side. Her power is unmatched and tools the block with ease over and over. If the block doesn’t press and time well on her, there is absolutely no chance for them. She is a true power hitter who will destroy the ball from anywhere. Her approach looks like she has been playing volleyball for ten years already. Give this slugger a look or two and you will see exactly what I am talking about.
Riley Malloy Riley Malloy 6'5" | OH Austin | 2026 State TX [2026] 6-3 Outside (HS: Austin/Club: Austin Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Malloy is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays at Austin High School and also club for the Austin Skyline program. Riley has the 6th most kills in the state amongst freshmen as she has tallied 337 kills on a superb .300 hitting percentage. Everyone will see her height when they watch her play, but I see a player who has tons of potential that will be absolutely lethal in a few years. Her frame and long reach definitely help her score in bunches against smaller blocks and teams who cannot keep up with her ability to move the ball around the court. She has great court vision and scores toward different areas of the court well. I also love her timing on offense as sometimes it is hard for taller players to catch up to quicker tempo sets on the pins, but Miss Malloy uses great footwork to do it. We are going to have a lot of fun watching her grow into a stellar player.
