We’ve been highlighting the players that are standing out in individual skills and today we continue to showcase some of the most productive servers in the Lone Star State. Last week we focused on the seniors, so now it’s time we present the juniors that have been causing damage from the service line.
Kayme Schley

Fayeteville have one of the top offensive players in the entire state in Brooklyn Jaeger Brooklyn Jaeger 5’9″ | OH Fayetteville | 2023 State TX and also one of the best servers in Schley. The 5’8″ outside hitter averages nearly one ace per set, with 97 points from the service line produced across 98 sets of play. Schley had a season-high ten aces by the end of September against Prairie Lea and had eight serving points on two other occasions. One of the keys to Schley’s success as a server is her accuracy, especially when she serves short. She can also make the ball float a lot and occasionally fall right in front of the passer.
Lauren Pyle
Lauren Pyle
A very complete player, Pyle has been helping her Hallsville team in a variety of different ways this season and one of them is with her serving. The left-handed setter’s floater has been extremely difficult for opponents to deal with and has generated 89 aces this season, to an average of 0.9 per set. Pyle, who’s also her team’s leader in assists and ranks second in digs, has had terrific serving performances against Garland (eight aces), South Garland and Marshall (seven each).
Hailey Forshee
Hailey Forshee
George Ranch’s main defensive specialist, Forshee has also been able to team when it comes to scoring points with her impressive serving efficiency. The 5’3″ junior has fired 77 aces in 116 sets, averaging 0.7 per set and also often gets their opponents out-of-system. Her best serving performance happened against Aldine, when she registered eight aces. Forshee’s floater is very difficult to control and typically targets the very last inches of the court, keeping opposing passers guessing and unsure about whether it’s going to land in or out.
