Offensive Players

[player_tooltip player_id='151958' first='Allie' last='Barrick'] - CHCA | 2025
With 286 kills heading into the postseason, Barrick is CHCA's biggest threat at the net with her arm. She has big upside as she gets off the floor well and can generate a lot of movement and heat. At 5'11, the sophomore has good size at the pin that allows her to attack well above the top of the tape and is the current #1 2025 prospect in our Ohio rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='179022' first='Mariah' last='Gaines'] - Roger Bacon | 2025
Gaines was the second overall attacker in the league and is another sophomore that is leading their team. She averaged just over three kills per set as she terminated 248 in the regular season. She is athletic and continues to show improvement in the details of her skills. She also was top five in the MVC in total digs with 213.

[player_tooltip player_id='152056' first='Ally' last='Hughes'] - Roger Bacon | 2025
Also just a sophomore, Hughes led the MVC in total assists and guided Roger Bacon to a share of the league title. She has over 800 assists in her brief career with the majority of them coming this season. She has some big options as four arms around her average from 2.0 to 3.6 kills per set and she gets them involved well.

[player_tooltip player_id='445100' first='Elena' last='Stone'] - Summit Country Day | 2025
The MVC is loaded with good young talent as Stone is also a sophomore and among the top five in the league offensively with a 2.9 kills per set average. Following a solid first-year season in 2021, she is approaching 450 kills for her career.

Defensive Players

Mariya Montgomery - Roger Bacon | 2023
Montgomery has a raw quality to her game but she has shown big gains from the club season and into the 2022 season that garners attention for her athleticism and skill growth. At 6'1, she can create good action above the net. She led the MVC in total blocks at 63 and is a quality option offensively for Roger Bacon as she complements their primary arms well with 2.4 kills per set and hitting at a team leading .346 efficiency.

Kelsey Foley - Summit Country Day | 2024
The MVC's defensive leader in the back row, Foley was the only athlete in the league to surpass 300 digs as she picked up 324 in the regular season. She has good floor presence and makes things happen through her reaction to the ball. Her effort this regular season has inched her closer to the 1,200 career digs mark.
