New Names, Big Impacts: Texas Edition

<p>We have some new names for you to know this week. These athletes below are doing some extraordinary things for their high school or club teams. They are putting up big stats, blocks, digs, and assists. Each athlete below is a big-impact player you should be paying attention to.</p>   <h3>Trabrece Marbley - Humble High School</h3>   <p>Trabrece Marbley is a sophomore out of Humble High School. She is a 5'8 pin hitter and can jump out of the gym touching 10'1. She plays club for [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] as well. She is fast in transition and has an explosive approach that allows her to get such a high contact point on her swing. She plays 6 rotations and has a back-row swing as well. She can hit anywhere on the court and has a nice little off-speed shot that wins her a lot of points. When she is in transition on a quick set, you better watch out, because she is putting that ball away. Check out some highlights</p>   <h3>[player_tooltip player_id='196848' first='Aubree' last='Fernandez'] - Frisco Wakeland</h3>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='196848' first='Aubree' last='Fernandez'] is a freshman libero out of the Frisco area. She plays for Wakeland High School and TAV in Dallas. You can tell she has been trained well because her footwork in defense is amazing and she has a fast reaction time. She has a "no ball hits the floor" attitude, and determination to go with it. She is solid in coverage and can read a tip from the opposing team. Definitely look for her to be on our freshman watchlist. Check out her highlights <strong></strong>.</p>   <h3>Madie Whitehead - Pearland </h3>   <p>Madie Whitehead is a senior right-side hitter for Pearland High School and AVA out of Webster. She just recently scored a game point in a district game for Pearland last week. She is a lefty with some aggressive snap behind the ball. She is reliable in an out-of-system play and has no problem hitting a ball that isn't perfect. She is smart, you can see her volleyball IQ when she plays. She is a great blocker and defender as well. Check out some of her highlights from last club season <strong></strong>.</p>   <h3>[player_tooltip player_id='233195' first='Georgia' last='crayton'] - Canyon </h3>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='233195' first='Georgia' last='crayton'] is a setter out of North Texas. She sets for Canton and East Texas Alliance. She just recently had a game-high 42 assists that pushed her over the 1,000 assists milestone. Georgia is able to make connections with her hitters, there is no doubt there, as she has put up some major numbers this year as a junior. Check out her 42-assist game <strong><a href="https://t.co/zpBf7SOqM1">here</a></strong>.</p>   <h3>[player_tooltip player_id='195828' first='Akire' last='Jones'] - Hutto High School</h3>   <p>Akira Jones is an excellent middle blocker from Hutto, who plays for Austin Skyline. If you are looking for a solid wall blocker and a sneaky offensive weapon, you have found it! Akire is able to hit those really sharp shots on offense both to the right and the left. She makes it really hard for opposing blockers to read her. She is very long and strong on the block as well. Akire is making big waves for Hutto, check out some of her high school <strong><a href="https://x.com/_Akire17_/status/1549853742996013057?s=20&t=PG0ewP5wSteyIUNuPR7QlA">highlights</a></strong>.</p>   <h3>[player_tooltip player_id='178950' first='Brooklyn' last='Davis'] - Caney Creek High School</h3>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='178950' first='Brooklyn' last='Davis'] is out of Conroe, Texas, at Caney Creek High School. The pin hitter plays for Texas Legacy Volleyball Club, but she is making a huge impact right now for her high school team. Brooklyn has really found her niche in her school team and has taken on a lot of responsibility there. Although she doesn't have a lot of height on her side, she is able to find the court around the block. The setter out of San Antonio plays for Warren High School and Magic Volleyball Club. Naomi runs a 5-1 for Warren and seems to be able to make solid connections with all of her hitters. She is very creative in her offense and works to get her hitters open net or single blocks. She doesn't mind a risky play and is able to pull off some really athletic moves to the ball. She plays for Clark High School and Alamo Volleyball. Jaylin has got to be one of the toughest liberos to score on. She can play the left-back corner to the donut, and the line to the right-side coverage. There are few places where Jaylin gets beat. She also has a wicked jump float serve to pair with her defensive capabilities. She is also an amazing out-of-system player.
