The Sections are filling out piece by piece as teams advance. You may know some of these players and others you might not but you should. Even if they may be role players this year they are sure to have a bright future. There are top ranked recruits like Anna Veurink, Madison Burr Madison Burr 6'2" | RS Cannon Falls | 2024 State MN , Rylee Nelson Rylee Nelson 5'9" | DS/L Zumbrota - Mazeppa | 2023 State MN and Luca Bredenberg Luca Bredenberg 5'8" | DS/L Southwest Christian | 2024 State #104 Nation MN . And then there are rising stars such as Hannah Klein Hannah Klein 6'1" | OH Albany | 2025 State MN .
Schreurs has soft hands and does a great job getting the ball out of her hands quickly. RTR will be a force in the post season and their spot on distributors will feed some electric attackers.
Majchrzak takes an aggressive approach and then has super smart placement which has led to her team leading 103 kills. She also has a very aggressive serve leading to a team high 16 aces.
Veurink runs a nice slide and has a really high contact point. She also makes really smart attack choices which have resulted in 200 kills while hitting a .370 hitting percentage.
Peterson does a great job working the angles around the block. This senior is pushing to extend the Wildcat’s season as long as possible.
Bottelberghe is highly effective with the deep line tip. She has come on as a hot hitter for Minneota and makes scoring points look easy.
Borresen has done a great job moving the ball around and keeping RTR’s offense unpredictable. She has a great handle on using all of her options on the court and getting the outside ball all the way out to the pin where some setters let it die inside and end up trapping their hitters.
