The Sections are filling out piece by piece as teams advance. You may know some of these players and others you might not but you should. Even if they may be role players this year they are sure to have a bright future. There are top ranked recruits like Anna Veurink, Madison Burr Madison Burr 6'2" | RS Cannon Falls | 2024 State MN , Rylee Nelson Rylee Nelson 5'9" | DS/L Zumbrota - Mazeppa | 2023 State MN and Luca Bredenberg Luca Bredenberg 5'8" | DS/L Southwest Christian | 2024 State #104 Nation MN . And then there are rising stars such as Hannah Klein Hannah Klein 6'1" | OH Albany | 2025 State MN .
Baker is a lefty that takes a big approach and has a heavy arm. She’s already contributed 131 kills, 62 digs, and 36 blocks for this squad as they head into the postseason.
Klein can score from anywhere on the net. As a sophomore she’s recorded 84 kills, 9 aces, 39 digs, and 19 blocks.
Larson and Maci Martini Maci Martini 5’10” | OH Pequot Lakes | 2023 State MN are quite the pair of pins for Pequot Lakes. Martini is explosive while Larson uses a number of different shots to score points. It’s all about finesse and strategic placement for Larson.
Rinio comes in like a wrecking ball. She has a really heavy arm and she’s a real powerhouse you are going to want to see.
Highlights
McGrane and senior outside hitter, Brianna Swenson Brianna Swenson 5’10” | OH Belle Plaine | 2023 State MN , are a tough front line for any attacker to hit against. McGrane can generate points with her ability to gun the corners and close the block. She may be in her sophomore season but she will be one to watch the next couple years.
Morse is a really tough server and has tallied 31 aces so far this season. On the other side of the serve she can stick with some really hard serves when some might give up and let the ball drop she just digs in and gets gritty. Morse has a solid 225 digs and 67 assists on the season so far.
This Martini gets a lot of great touches on the ball when you wouldn’t expect her to get close. She communicates and guides her hitters extremely well. Martini is solid in serve receive and keeps her team running full throttle on offense.
