Kennedy Jones Kennedy Jones 5'10" | OH Langham Creek | 2024 State TX – Langham Creek
Kennedy Jones Kennedy Jones 5'10" | OH Langham Creek | 2024 State TX has been putting on a show offensively lately. Although Langham Creek is very well-rounded offensively, Kennedy has been hitting very consistently, last week hitting over a .300. She is the team kill leader and is a high flyer that can attack a split in the block aggressively, or turn and take the ball line with no problem.
Melody Kate Herrin – Junior – Clear Creek
Melody Herrin Melody Herrin 5'11" | MB Clear Creek | 2024 State TX is putting up double-digit kills almost every game for Clear Creek. This middle blocker is a hard worker in offense and a beast on the block as well. Melody has a variety of shots and isn’t afraid to go off the hands of the block either.
Simone Romriell Simone Romriell 5'9" | S Seven Lakes | 2024 State TX – Seven Lakes
Simone Romriell Simone Romriell 5'9" | S Seven Lakes | 2024 State TX is putting up numbers for Seven Lakes. She is a leader in almost all categories, assists, digs, and aces. She is running a very effective and fast offense for Seven Lakes that has helped keep them competitive this season.
Lola Davila Lola Davila 5'6" | DS/L Brandeis | 2024 State TX – Brandeis
Lola Davila Lola Davila 5'6" | DS/L Brandeis | 2024 State TX has been the backbone of Brandeis’s bounce-back this season after winning a state title last fall. Lola has been putting up major numbers in the digs category, and two times recently she had over 30 digs in the match.
Allison Beal – Stony Point
Allison Beal is another really good libero out of the Central Texas area. She has grinding away on the back row, touching anything she can in serve receive, and defense. She loves to dig a hard-driven ball, and her reaction time on defense is amazing, you just have to see it.
Arianna Roberson – Clark
Arianna Roberson is putting up huge numbers in the blocking category this season. Averaging almost 5 blocks per match, she is a huge threat to opposing hitters. She just had 19 kills and 11 blocks on Tuesday night. But make sure you’re paying attention because she can hit very well from the pin.
Kayden Arrington – Blum
Three-year libero Kayden Arrington out of Blum High School just hit 1,500 career digs earlier in the season. She seems to be a solid defensive option for Blum, as she has made very few defensive errors. Her serve receive seems to be a little shaky but overall a very good libero. She was a part of the 2021 state appearance team and knows what playoff pressure is like. She will be a huge asset to Blum as they head into the playoffs.
Natalie Arnold Natalie Arnold 6'0" | MB Dripping Springs | 2023 State TX – Dripping Springs
Senior middle blocker Natalie Arnold Natalie Arnold 6'0" | MB Dripping Springs | 2023 State TX had a big week last week, hitting a .600 with 9 kills. She has got great court vision from the middle and has a really fast swing, that can cut around even the biggest block. She has great speed and agility as well and can serve and pass well in defense.
Naara Tanco – Rouse
Narra Tanco is a great blocker out of Rouse High School. Recently at a district match, she had 15 kills out of the middle and 4 blocks. She has a sneaky slide move that I really love and is hard to defend as well. Naara is athletic enough to hit from the pin as well.
