Langham Creek’s high-flying outside hitter was the strong offensive player she always is, playing a central role in the team’s game plan. She thrives by using her impressive vertical to erase any difficulties she could have on offense and that was the case too against the Bobcats as she was very difficult to stop. Jones displayed an extremely versatile game, swinging with great efficiency from the left, right and the back and, except for a few moments, was very consistent. She also did fine on the backcourt with her passing and defense and had a couple of serves that got the Bobcats out of system.

Jones is another of those cases of extremely athletic pin hitters who stand out offensively but also do an excellent job in improving every area of their game. She’s an incredible jumper and can stay in the air for a while and the two skills make of her a formidable hitter. Jones is pretty powerful with her swings but can also surprise defenders with intelligent tips and roll shots. She never backs down from a challenge and tends to play better in big moments, being the player her team wants on the ball when the match is on the line. She has made great strides on her backcourt skills too and became an all-around player who can also play on the right.

Jones has been a force at the pin for a couple of years now. She’s a nightmare for opposing blockers because of her unparalleled vertical and hangtime and, although very powerful, has been recently adding more finesse to her offense, scoring in tips and rolls shots when these are the best options. Jones also made a huge leap in her backcourt game and is now a very consistent passer and an active defender.

The high-flying outside hitter was fed during the entire match and scored at a fairly good rate, leaving the court with a team-high 15 kills. She would often use her power and athleticism to overcome Bridgeland’s blockers and defenders, but also turned to finesse and smart plays on certain occasions. Jones was very solid with her passing (44 passes) and also made important plays on defense, tallying 23 digs. Her blocking was positive too as she did a good job in closing her area, got two stuffs and touched a few balls.
