<p><strong>Salem Tigers 24-8-1</strong></p>

<p>The Tigers would knock off defending Class 1 state champions Miller Cardinals in 3 25-23, 22-25, 25-20 to win the Sparta Tournament. Malerie Workman and [player_tooltip player_id='170030' first='Emily' last='Strange'] finished with 13 kills, while Avery Erway added 16 kills in the championship over Miller.</p>

<p>It's almost playoffs, and the Lancers are hitting their stride at the right time. In sweeps, the Ozark Grand Slam winners knocked off Jefferson City, Lutheran St. Charles, Ozark, and Logan-Rogersville. They would also upset Eureka 22-25, 25-19, 25-21, and #1 Liberty 25-19, 16-25, 25-22 in the finals.</p>
