Many middles are working the entire two hours without much of a break. The middles in the class of 2025 were dominant throughout the Expo and impressed from the first minute until the very last.
Karli is an incredibly talented athlete who is a workhorse on the court. She is constantly moving, blocking, and transitioning to hit. Karli was aggressive at the Top 250 Expo, going big on her swings and putting up massive blocks. Everything she does is explosive, from her footwork to her arm swing. She is a powerhouse middle and one of the top in her class for that reason.
Isabella has a great court presence. She was powerful and consistent at the Top 250 Expo. Her ability to adjust to nearly any set and execute efficiently set her apart at the event. She has a very high ceiling and a lot of potential as an athlete.
Highlights
Brooke is a really fun middle to watch. She has good court awareness and is disciplined in her movement. Brooke has a lot of potential and it showed at the Top 250 Expo. She sees the court well and utilizes her shots efficiently.
Delaney is a dynamic middle who is talented on offense and defense. She worked hard to close blocks consistently and was always on the move. Her transition was fast and she never seemed to miss a beat when running tempo plays. I am excited to see her develop as she gains experience.
Highlights
Brynn has a huge presence at the net. She also has a great touch on the ball. She reads the court well and knows when to take a rip on a ball and when to use finesse to find a tip or shot. Brynn runs fast tempo balls and is a very athletic and physical middle.
Allison impressed me with her grit at the Top 250 Expo. She never stopped putting in full effort on every point. She was constantly learning and absorbing information on the court, a characteristic of a good middle. She caught my eye on both offense and defense.
Highlights
Megan is a quick and scrappy middle who covers a lot of court on offense and defense. She is a dynamic athlete with a huge vertical and an ability to make adjustments to her play as needed. She is quick across the net when blocking and explosive and powerful on offense.
