Milwaukee Sting athletes are no stranger to Minnesota-Duluth. The Bulldogs currently have three Sting alums in Mary Satori (Manitowoc-Lincoln), Georgia Koscielak (Whitefish Bay), and Elyse Karrels (Port Washington). Aslakson will be a senior at Sussex Hamilton High School in suburban Milwaukee where she had a huge junior season that included a trip to the state tournament and a sweet sixteen appearance in the 17 National Division in Vegas with MKE Sting 17 Black. Aslakson brings physicality to the middle blocker position where she knows how to close a block and score points.

Brooke brings consistency to the court. She is a very talented blocker and seals the net well. Her discipline in transition makes her available on many balls, and she has a powerhouse swing that is tough to stop.

Brooke jumped from 33rd to 25th in the rankings. She had a dominant performance at state and is one of the top uncommitted middles in this class. Brooke never gives up on the court and moves pin to pin quickly to put up an absolute wall of a block. Brooke also makes herself available nearly every time the ball comes over and can take powerhouse swings, even during the quickest transition plays. Brooke earned All-State Honorable Mention this season.

Brooke had numerous exclamation points next to my notes from the Expo. She is a stock riser in this class and one whose hard work and dedication over the past few years is really starting to show. She can dominate on offense and defense and was one of the top middles at the Expo.

Brooke is an incredibly efficient middle blocker with a high swing and a heavy hand on the ball. At the state tournament, she was an impact player for Sussex-Hamilton. She had seven kills in the state semi-final match against DSHA and only one error, hitting a 0.353. She also contributed two blocks. Brooke has a lot of potential and continues to learn and improve continuously.

Brooke has been improving and impressing this season in leaps and bounds. She was on fire at MEQ and could have another huge weekend for Sting 16 Black in the Open division at WCNQ. Brooke has a lot of drive and discipline on the court, and is always ready to put up a huge block or earn points for her team.
