She does it all for the Bearcats. Passing, plays tremendous defense, blocks, and gets tons of kills. Her approach is big and powerful. In the semifinal win over Strafford, she would finish with 16 kills, nine digs, and three blocks and hit .350. Hermann lost the finals to Jefferson 3-1, but Holly did all she could to help give her team its 16th title. She had 28 assists and 12 digs in the semifinal win over Strafford. Watching her powerful approach and attack the ball with all of her 5'6" frame is something. She hit outside for the Blue Jays and had a great championship match with 11 kills and 26 digs to help her team to its first state title. In the semifinal trounce of East Buchanan, she would put down 13 kills and scoop nine digs.     <figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pd/uploads/2022/11/Ava-Roth-crop-1133x744-1667845859.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-244276"/></figure>     [player_tooltip player_id='168923' first='Emma' last='Breier'] – 2023 – Outside – Jefferson   A strong outside for the Blue Jays made the semifinal win look so easy. Emma made things look easy in the semifinal win as she hammered 15 kills on .591 hitting and added seven digs. In the championship match win over Hermann, she turned up the power, put down 23 kills, and added 11 digs and three blocks. One of the bright spots for the Indians in the semifinal sweep at the hands of Hermann Chadwell finished with two kills, 17 assists, and 11 digs. In the 3rd place sweep of East Buchanan, she would finish with seven kills, 24 assists, and seven digs.   [player_tooltip player_id='99225' first='Maya' last='Watkins'] – 2023 – Outside – East Buchanan   Watkins came into the final four with high expectations for a championship but ran into a buzzsaw in the semifinal loss to Jefferson. Watkins only finished with four kills and four digs, but nothing was going down against Jefferson. In the 3rd place loss to Strafford, Maya would put down 13 kills.   [player_tooltip player_id='171213' first='Paige' last='Siebert'] – 2023 – Setter – Jefferson   Paige led all of Class 2 with 80 assists and complete 45 of those in the championship 3-1 win over Hermann. She's not a fancy setter, but she's an intelligent setter that knows when to feed her hot hitters and when to mix up it to keep the opponent's blockers and defense honest.
