<p>The top player in the state finishes her career with another all-state honor after leading her team to a state title. </p>

<p><strong>Alayan Pearson - Blue Valley Northwest - First Team</strong></p>

<p>One of the top defenders in the state, Pearson caps off her career with all-state honors after a season with 450 digs in the libero jersey for the Huskies. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='120044' first='Taylor' last='Russell'] - Washburn Rural - First Team</strong></p>

<p>The 6'1" opposite had a consistent final season for the state-champion Blues. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='150076' first='Betsy' last='Goodenow'] - St. Thomas Aquinas - First Team</strong></p>

<p>The silky smooth southpaw showed her versatility by scoring from the right pin and behind the 10-foot line for the state champion Saints. She paced the team with 386 kills on the year. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='122207' first='Maliyah' last='Johnson'] - Hutchinson - First Team</strong></p>

<p>Johnson was excellent for Hutchinson the last couple of seasons and the final one earned her first-team honors. She delivered more than 4 kills per set on the year while holding a .300 hitting percentage. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='150075' first='Jaya' last='Johnson'] - Olathe South - Second Team</strong></p>

<p>Johnson's Olathe South team isn't one of the stronger programs but her play speaks loud enough as they captured the attention of coaches to grab a second-team spot on the all-state team. </p>

<p><strong>Connely Kilgore - Blue Valley - Second Team</strong></p>

<p>The state runner-up Blue Valley Tigers have some recognition with Kilgore on the second team. She had 192 kills and showed she was trustworthy in serve receive. </p>

<p>The Owls made a big jump in 2022 and Testrake was the leader of the bunch. In her final campaign, she added 275 more kills to her career numbers. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='152165' first='Reagan' last='Anderson'] - St. Thomas Aquinas - Second Team</strong></p>

<p>The state champion libero makes an appearance on the second team. There weren't many defenders as consistent as Anderson was in her last year. She had 340 digs and 469 receptions in 2022. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='220371' first='Allie' last='Paulsen'] - Andover Central - Second Team</strong></p>

<p>Paulsen showed her ability to affect the game both offensively and defensively as evidenced by her 285 kills and 74 blocks. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='120034' first='Brailee' last='Bogle'] - Wichita Northwest - Honorable Mention</strong></p>

<p>Bogle earned honorable mention accolades after dishing out just under 700 assists on the year. She was also lethal behind the service line with 75 aces. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='171295' first='Elinor' last='Engel'] - Shawnee Mission Northwest - Honorable Mention</strong></p>

<p>The senior capped off her year with all-state honors after a season that saw her hitting percentage at .331. She was the team leader in kills with 276. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='152172' first='Julia' last='Kinney'] - Blue Valley - Honorable Mention</strong></p>

<p>The second Blue Valley senior to make the list, Kinney led the team in kills with 262. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='120010' first='Sawyer' last='Thomsen'] - Lawrence Free State - Honorable Mention</strong></p>

<p>One of the best blockers in the state, Thomsen was a force at the net with 128 blocks. The team was at its best when she was in the lineup along the front row as she also had 324 kills. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='152163' first='Lauren' last='Brown'] - St. James - Honorable Mention</strong></p>

<p>The reliable defender and state runner-up Brown was key to the Thunder's run in 2022. She had 242 digs when in the lineup. She added over 300 receptions to keep the team in system. </p>

<p><strong>Abby Koontz - Newton - Honorable Mention</strong></p>

<p>The final run saw Koontz grab an honorable mention all-state spot. The libero averaged just under 7 digs per set to lead the defense. Her 594 digs were near the top for the state. </p>

<p><strong>Josie McLean - Hutchinson - Honorable Mention</strong></p>

<p>The Salthawk setter had 923 assists in her final season. </p>

<p>Weaver was second on the state-qualifying team in kills, digs, and receptions and brought senior leadership to a young team. </p>
