<p>Three more divisions came to an end at the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) volleyball State Championship on Friday, with new state champions being crowned in divisions 3A, 4A and 5A at the University High School. As we continue to follow the tournament that's being held in the Waco area, here's a summary of what happened.</p>

<p><strong>Division 3A: Round Rock Christian 3-1 Dallas Lutheran - 23-25, 25-13, 25-17, 25-19 </strong></p>

<p>The Round Rock Christian Crusaders recovered from a shaky start to overcome the Dallas Lutheran Lions in four sets to succesfully defend their last year title and step at the top of the podium for the fourth time in the decade, following victories in 2012, 2017 and 2021.</p>

<p>The Crusaders sent four seniors to the All-Tournament Team in outside hitters [player_tooltip player_id='195853' first='Ryann' last='Holley'] and Savannah Johnson, setter Reagan Sawyer and libero [player_tooltip player_id='122895' first='Kelli' last='Northup']. Representing the Lions in the selection were outside hitters Millie Olsson and Alex Dever, libero Ava Pope and setter Lauren Pittman. </p>

<p><strong>Division 4A: Grace Prep Academy 3-2 Brentwood Christian - 21-25, 25-20, 25-20, 14-25, 15-12</strong></p>

<p>The Grace Prep Academy Lions from Arlington won the division 4A title in dramatic fashion, going five sets to defeat the Brentwood Christian Bears from Austin. Junior libero Savannah Stevens had an impressive 52 digs while senior middle Lacy Young had nine blocks and junior outside hitter Maya Kelly had 17 digs. </p>

<p>All three made it to the All-Tournament Team, as well as junior outside hitter Kallir Smith. The runners-up Bears were represented by senior outside hitter Ashlynn Alvarado, junior setter Parker Kimball, freshman middle Kendal Roberson and freshman outside hitter Claire Montgomery.</p>

<p><strong>Division 5A: Liberty Christian 3 - 1 Fort Bend Christian Academy - 25-18, 16-25, 25-20, 25-21</strong></p>

<p>The Liberty Christian Warriors from Argyle prevented the Fort Bend Christian Academy Eagles from Sugar Land to retain their division 5A state title and returned to the top of the podium after their 2020 victory in division 6A with a four-set win in the Championship match in Waco.</p>

<p>Senior setter [player_tooltip player_id='122892' first='Reagan' last='Fifer'], junior outside hitters [player_tooltip player_id='155126' first='Tally' last='Grissom'] and Quinlan Denney and sophomore right side [player_tooltip player_id='212734' first='Naya' last='Salfiti'] all made it to the All-Tournament team from Liberty Christian. Fort Bend Christian Academy had sophomore middle [player_tooltip player_id='179893' first='Bayleigh' last='Minor'], senior setter Emma Pekar and outside hitters [player_tooltip player_id='178568' first='Layne' last='Bulow'] (sophomore) and Cambry Gerardi (junior) in the list.</p>
