Fort Bend Christian’s athletic middle was nearly unstoppable at the net, having no issues scoring points and siding out with great efficiency. She got 14 sets (just the fourth most in the team) and sent nine of them (the highest mark in the squad) straight down, hitting at an impressive 64.3% efficiency rate and ending the match with zero errors. Minor was also a major factor with her blocking as, besides getting three stuffs, she also created all sorts of issues for opposing hitters with her ability to move quickly to both pins and her tremendous leaping and very aggressive moves above the net.

The best middle in Texas in her age group according to our Class of 2026 Prep Dig State Rankings, Minor played exactly like that for her Fort Bend Christian Academy team that finished third in the golden bracket. Her athleticism is truly unmatched and, although she’s been progressing by leaps and bounds in every area of her game, is what sets her apart from other players in the position. Minor connected well with new setter Lauren LeRoux and was really difficult to stop, especially when hitting the slide. Her blocking was also a big asset for the Eagles as it created all sorts of problems for opposing hitters.

A State Champion with Fort Bend Christian Academy, Minor has emerged as one of the most exciting middles in the state of Texas. There’s absolutely nothing missing in her game as she’s physical, technical, intelligent and extremely athletic. Her footwork is among the very best in the state and watching how quickly she moves on the court to hit the slide is a true joy. Minor not only has all the tools, but she actually delivers in big moments and was one of the top players at last year’s TAPPS State Tournament.

A fast-rising star was brought to our attention at last year’s NLQ. Minor lit up the scoreboard in 15 Open competition and helped Houston Skyline complete a flawless weekend. Fast forward over a year later, and Minor’s game has become increasingly powerful and refined. Aside from a runner-up finish at Triple Crown, I’d tan the bid-earning triumph at Windy City as a major highlight for Minor and her team.

Minor will be one of the key players in her star-studded Houston Skyline 16 Royal team that will contend in the 16 Open division. A player with unbelievable athleticism, she emerged as one of the top middles in the Houston area early last season and has only gotten better. Minor is a fantastic jumper, often gettings head and shoulder above the net, and complements her set of physical tools with long arms and big hands. She has been improving and adding new tools to her game at a scary quick pace and is extremely impactful at the net with her diverse offense and strong, well-structured blocking.
