I’m going to zero in on the Class of 2025 as there were plenty of high level athletes who will be gearing up for their 16s year (some may be playing up), but this class in both states is incredibly deep. I’m going for a quick hitting, different style of article today where I do my best to capture the best of these athletes in one sentence. My fast tempo writing! Lets dive in on the Class of 2025.

Madison Marx Madison Marx 5'7" | S Franklin | 2025 State WI had some of the best hands in the gym in Milwaukee and will be a key piece to the success of Milwaukee Sting 16 Gold this season.
Highlights
Tripp is always going to be one of the best athletes in the gym where she is incredibly dynamic being a setter and can score points as a right side too.

Reiter is part two of the setting duo for Sting 16 Gold where she receives the ball high, neutral, and can take it multiple directions where she is always keeping the other side of the net off guard.

Van Camp saw a lot of varsity action for Kimberly High School this fall and will continue that momentum as a libero for the Impact 16 National squad out of Appleton who will look to contend among the top tier teams in the Badger Region.

Addison Foor Addison Foor 5'11" | OH Aquinas | 2025 State WI is out of the La Crosse area and will play for Elevate this club season where she will bring a lot of explosiveness to the net as a big time blocker and explosive attacker.

Audrey Heiring Audrey Heiring 6'1" | RS Kenosha Christian Life | 2025 State WI was a new player on the radar for me at the Wisconsin Top 250, but showed a lot of point scoring abilities and was extremely dynamic.

I spent a lot of time on Vander Velden’s court at the Top 250 and saw what a presence she has out of the middle, especially defensively where she is a really physical blocker.

McDowell is on a really scrappy RVA squad out of Waukesha where they are always a tough matchup and with Megan in the middle, she will cause some mismatch problems.

Olivia Durst Olivia Durst 5'9" | DS/L DSHA | 2025 State #140 Nation WI is one of the most dynamic players in the Class of 2025 winning a state title for DSHA this season as an outside hitter, but her future could be as a high level libero.
I remember watching Alexis Gardner Alexis Gardner 5'7" | DS/L Mukwonago | 2025 State WI in the Prep Dig Gauntlet last club season and was exciting to see her progression in the backrow as a libero who could take pace off the ball and take command in serve receive.
Rettler will be a really key player for Wisconsin Ice out of Wausau this club season as she can pass and set with the best of them giving her team plenty of options of how she can be utilizied.
Elizabeth Iverson Elizabeth Iverson 5'8" | S Norwalk | 2025 State IA out of Norwalk was able to show great poise along with solid footwork, a smooth release, and command as a setter as she will be playing for Iowa PowerPlex this winter.

Dakota Mitchell Dakota Mitchell 5'3" | DS/L Mid Prairie | 2025 State IA showed why she is one of the top liberos in the state with her ability to make difficult plays look easy.
Kamryn Scheib showed a strong all around game where she can attack from the pin, but also showed her ability to pass, serve receive, and swing out of the backrow as well.
Katelyn Schmitt Katelyn Schmitt OH Beckman | 2025 State IA provides a lot of length on the pin where she can play on the outside or right side, providing a solid block and can terminate as well.

Carly Wezac was someone I wasn’t familiar with before the Top 250, but she has a high contact point and a lot of pop with a big left handed swing on the right side.
Ella Rogers Ella Rogers 6'1" | S Dowling | 2025 State IA has a lot of length as a setter at 6’1, she’s long, athletic, and is someone the other side of the net always has to be aware of.

Meya Wingert Meya Wingert 5'10" | S Tri-Center | 2025 State IA is one of the top setters in Southwest Iowa prepping at Tri-Center where she can get her feet and hands to the ball always looking to keep her attackers in a position to score.

Natalie Schmadeke Natalie Schmadeke 5'10" | S Cedar Falls | 2025 State IA comes from Waterloo West where she is a hidden gem out of the Cedar Valley that needs to no longer be hidden as a setter who can do a little bit of everything including block and attack.
