This season, Prep Dig is contributing even more to the success of the club season in Texas, bringing as many at three Prep Dig Top 250 Expos to the state, all set to happen during the month of December. These events will not only provide athletes the opportunity to take part in high-level training but also get them invaluable exposure to both our scouts and college coaches who will be in attendance
The first of them will take place at the Southwest Athletic Center, in Carrollton, in the Dallas area, and we’re excited to already have more than 150 of the most interesting athletes of the area registered to take part in it. We’ve been featuring some of the most promising prospects who are set to be on the court at the event and it’s the liberos’ turn now.
Bridges was Prosper’s starting libero in her sophomore season and displayed excellent consistency and production throughout the high school season. She’s very technical and has an extremely clean first contact and another thing that makes of her an excellent defender is her ability to move on the backcourt, which allows her to bait opposing hitters into swinging into an open spot only for her to cover that area and get the dig. Her ball control is excellent as well.

Fernandez recently emerged as an up-and-coming libero in the Frisco area. Her quickness on the court is truly impressive and the class of 2026 prospect also has great command of the backcourt. Her platform is always well done and that helps her control hard-driven hits that go her way, but Fernandez is very effective when it comes to displaying quick reactions and chasing tips. She’s very consistent and reliable with her passing as well.

Flores will very likely be one of the quickest and most high-energy players in the event because that’s what her game looks like when she’s on the court. She moves really fast and works tremendously hard on the backcourt to make plays is typically incredibly productive – she has more than 1,000 digs in two high school seasons with Warren is approaching that mark in passes too. Flores is also very good at reacting and changing directions to go for deflected shots or tips.
Hernandez looked like a veteran in her first high school season as the class of 2026 prospect embraced a big role with Frisco Memorial and delivered excellent play, with more than 500 digs and nearly 700 passes registered. She has great ball control, but is also excellent at making reaction plays and getting the ball up in the air. Also a productive server, Hernandez is extremely calm and consistent with her passing.

The fact that Mickenheim was one of the class of 2025 liberos nominated for our Prep Dig Texas All-State Awards speaks volumes about her level of play. She has put on impressive numbers (937 digs and 790 passes) with her team Argyle but is even more impressive to watch everything she can do on the court. Mickenheim covers a lot of ground on the backcourt and works very hard to deny her opponents.
