I was fortunate to watch an impressive group of pin hitters at last weekend’s Top 250 Expo at Dynasty ‘ last=”]’ last=”] Volleyball Academy in Kansas City. A few of these athletes were familiar to me, while others landed on my radar for the first time. Whatever the case, these attackers brought the heat for our showcase.
So, let’s shout out some of this frontcourt fire Power ‘ last=”] that made an immediate impression at Kansas City’s Top 250 Expo.
After seeing Tyrrell at our showcase, there’s no question why she turned into a go-to left-side attacker for Olathe East this year. The sophomore, who competes with Power ‘ last=”]’] during the club season, is so efficient when tooling the block and is a frustrating attacker to defend. Tyrrell’s range will serve her well as she looks forward to taking another step forward in the spring.
Johnson brought some serious heat with Platte County this fall, and she didn’t slow down at our expo, either. Not only is Johnson an effective terminator with a fast arm swing in the frontcourt, but she also has the defensive skills necessary to be a true six-rotation asset. Mizuno Club North will continue to lean on this 2024 outside hitter next year.
Davis can get the job done on either pin. That versatility quickly became clear as Davis participated in hitting lines at our showcase, and she continued that success against well-formed blocks in team drills. Like Johnson, Davis is a force to be reckoned with at Club North.

It takes a full team effort to slow down Anderson on the left pin. The Bishop Miege junior has a fluid approach that allows her to get the most out of her reach. Anderson’s full attacking range was one of the first things that stood out at Dynasty ‘ last=”]’ last=”] last weekend, and her best may still be yet to come.

This is a good starting point for 2025s. While Liming has some experience playing middle blocker, she really thrived as a left-side hitter with Park Hill this fall. Liming easily eclipsed the 200-kill mark and did it on an impressive 0.231 clip for the Panthers. It’s hard to believe this effective pin attacker is an underclassman, but we saw a lot of athletes in Kansas City who played well beyond their years.
Effortless elevation is the name of the game for Lopez. This Dynasty ‘ last=”]’ last=”] standout had a phenomenal morning in her home gym, and it was all sparked by Lopez’s quickness off the floor and equally fast swing. It reminds us of so many other athletic pin attackers who are currently thriving in the Dynasty ‘ last=”]’ last=”] program.

Clinkscale’s pipe attacks were among the best we saw in Kansas City last weekend. Back-row swings can be a tough skill for young players to master, but Clinkscale’s refined technique turns her backcourt presence into a true offensive weapon.

Chavez has already accomplished a lot in her prep career, and this year’s club season will mark a new chapter as she makes the move to Power ‘ last=”]’]. Not only did we get a good look at Chavez’s frontcourt physicality at our expo, but she is fresh off an impressive sophomore campaign with St. James Academy in Shawnee.

Watch out for the Class of 2026. Stanley will represent Dynasty ‘ last=”]’ last=”] 15 Black this spring and has all the traits necessary to make a big splash against the nation’s top competitors. The Blue Valley Southwest prep athlete’s year-round impact is bound to catch some eyes.
