Let’s Rock! Some of the 250!

It is our desire at Prep Dig to continue to learn about some of the athletes we may not be as familiar with. As we scrolled the list of attendees, we picked out some names we aren't as familiar with but excited to learn more about heading into the weekend. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Katie Wright - Olathe East - 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wright is a defender out of Olathe, KS who had a solid year in 2022. She saw action in 80 sets for the Hawks and proved to be a dependable back-row player. Her stat line included 274 digs and over 500 receptions on the season. She plays her club ball at [program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='[program_tooltip program_id='428892' first='PVA' last='']' last=''].</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='493422' first='Lauren' last='Heinz'] - Andover - 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 5'7" setter had a productive sophomore season for Andover. She played in 75 sets and dished out 344 assists on the year. She also showed the skill set to be an asset defensively with 114 digs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='493402' first='Lily' last='Waters'] - Derby - 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The sophomore pin had a breakout year in her second season of high school ball. At 5'9", she showed the ability to play in 6 rotations evidenced by 286 kills and 216 digs. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='493438' first='Madison' last='Williams'] - Clearwater - 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Williams has been a staple in the Clearwater lineup since her freshman year. The pin who can swing from both ends saw her kill number go from 162 as a freshman to 262 this fall. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='219720' first='Kenzy' last='McArtor'] - Clearwater - 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 5'10" McArtor has done damage on the pin and in the middle in her first two years at Clearwater. Like her teammate Williams, she had a big increase in production between years 1 and 2 going from 130 to 340 in the kill department. Her hitting percentage also made big jumps. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='261102' first='Alexandra' last='Huffmire'] - St. James - 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Huffmire attends St. James and plays for [program_tooltip program_id='428889' first='Dynasty' last=''] 16 Blue. The 6'0" pin is another player who will take swings on both pins and her size makes her a prospect we want to put eyes on this weekend. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jaden Jenkins - Russellville - 2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jenkins had a very good freshman campaign for Russellville in 2022. She played in 73 sets and collected 137 kills and hit just a tad over .200. She comes in as a middle and has the size to also play on the pin. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='237255' first='Langley' last='Barger'] - Eisenhower - 2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The junior was a key contributor for the Eisenhower team in 2022 from the outside position. In 87 sets she delivered 162 kills. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
