With the holiday break upon us, and a winter storm bearing down on Central Indiana, we have plenty of time to talk about great players that are dotted all over the class of '25 rankings. Here are five amazing pin players, including our #1 overall recruit for the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='152944' first='Charlotte' last='Vinson'], 6-1 OH, Yorktown, Munciana

Two short years ago, I reffed Charlotte's Munciana Chipmunks (14-1) at a JVA event in Louisville, where they dispatched a very good KIVA program in the final. She set, she attacked, she blocked---she was the best player, by far, that took the court that day. Fast forward to today, and you can find Indiana's #1 overall recruit on Mike Lingenfelter's squad, the Samurai (18-1). Charlotte can do just about anything she sets her mind to, and the distance between she and the rest of the class is widening. MaxPreps has honored her with an Underclass All-American nod. Only two other athletes from Indiana are on that list, [player_tooltip player_id='110501' first='Lauren' last='Harden'] (Florida commit) and [player_tooltip player_id='110509' first='Macy' last='Hinshaw'] (Santa Clara commit). As for Charlotte, she should hit 1k in kills by week six in her junior season, and her club season should be an eye-opener to her potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='152943' first='Logan' last='Bell'], 5-11 OH, Roncalli, Circle City

Playing at a more mature level than her age dictates, Logan is a six-rotation outside that can hit from anywhere and defend from anywhere else. She's always been on a winning program, and looks to continue that trend with her athleticism and high volleyball IQ.

[player_tooltip player_id='172335' first='Emma' last='Hines'], 6-2 RS, McCutcheon, Boiler Juniors (17-1)

A big and strong right side, Emma is a challenge to block and an even bigger challenge to hit around. A two-sport stud, she's a recent transfer from Harrison, and will definitely help fill the massive hole [player_tooltip player_id='85895' first='Chloe' last='Chicoine'] (Indiana Miss Volleyball, Purdue signee) leaves behind.

[player_tooltip player_id='161191' first='Taylor' last='Cripe'], 5-10 OH, South Newton, Boiler Juniors (16-1)

[player_tooltip player_id='172313' first='Avery' last='Carroll'], 5-9 OH, Carmel, Boiler Juniors (16-1)

On average, the Boiler Juniors program dominates at the younger levels, earning multiple all-American awards and AAU national championship trophies regularly. This year's edition of Academy's Lafayette division should be even stronger, as their young kids move to the older programs, keeping their talent in-house. Taylor is a heavy-hitting outside that is becoming an all-around beast. The ball just sounds different coming off of her hand, and her relentless nature makes her a tough person to defend. The other outside is just as tough, if not more so. Avery is a recent all-American at AAUs from her stint on the 15-1 squad last club season. She's a compact and strong outside that never needs to come out of any game, ever. Despite her size, she's more than capable of hitting any shot in any position along the front row, and her relentless nature extends to the back row and her floor defense. I'm looking forward to seeing this particular team at club events starting in a few weeks, as these two pins should be the alpha and omega of the offense.
