[player_tooltip player_id='124109' first='Dominique' last='Phills'] / Junior / [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors']

After watching number 204 block the first ball of the day, I immediately had to look her up and saw [player_tooltip player_id='124109' first='Dominique' last='Phills'] name. She is a great overall athlete who can do it all at the net. She uses her size to her advantage and knows when to put the ball away and when to find the hole.

[player_tooltip player_id='195821' first='Lyric' last='Jordan'] / Senior / Houston Skyline

Recent Lamar commit [player_tooltip player_id='195821' first='Lyric' last='Jordan'] was in attendance at the PD 250 Expo stop 1 in Houston. I really liked watching her on the pin. She had a great right-side swing and an aggressive approach to the ball. She was also a part of a couple of big blocks during competitive 6v6 that got everyone's attention!

[player_tooltip player_id='87551' first='Devyn' last='Lewis'] / Senior / AVA

This was my first time seeing [player_tooltip player_id='87551' first='Devyn' last='Lewis'] in person this season and she did not disappoint. With a heavy arm swing and decent defending, Devyn was the full package when it came to court 1. She is very good at using her hands in serve receive and in defense, which a lot of players can't do successfully. She's strong enough to push the ball all the way to the target, even from a deep middle-back position.

[player_tooltip player_id='218106' first='Cibeles' last='Bothwell'] / Senior / Texas Legacy

The positive energy that [player_tooltip player_id='218106' first='Cibeles' last='Bothwell'] brought to her court was unmatched. She was a great serve receiver and a great teammate while playing. She brought lots of hustle and heart and always had something positive to say. Cibeles may have been an under-the-radar player before, but we will definitely be keeping an eye out for her from now on!

[player_tooltip player_id='142639' first='Peyton' last='Fadal'] / Junior / TAV Houston

If you want to see a true competitor look no further than [player_tooltip player_id='142639' first='Peyton' last='Fadal'] out of Barbers Hill, Texas. Peyton wants to compete, every rep, every ball. She makes her team more successful by leading by example with heart and hustle. She is a true athlete who wants to show her best at all times. While she spent most of her time setting, we also got to see her block and play defense as well, and those aspects of her game were just as strong.

[player_tooltip player_id='254078' first='Bea' last='Angeles'] / Junior / Texas United

I love the style of play [player_tooltip player_id='254078' first='Bea' last='Angeles'] has. The junior libero was one of the most talked about upperclassmen for her athletic abilities. She is a go-getter on serve receive. She wants to take command of the court and pass as many balls as she can, all while staying super positive on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='254133' first='Carly' last='Johnson'] / Junior / TAV Houston

[player_tooltip player_id='254133' first='Carly' last='Johnson'] really impressed us Sunday. I have seen Carly before, but not at this level. She really turned into a competitor and jumped right into demo plays and was always the first on the court to start a drill. While her position is DS, she can absolutely do it all. She is not limited by her position and she can hit and block very well too.

[player_tooltip player_id='177543' first='Kara' last='Wynn'] / Junior / Austin Skyline

[player_tooltip player_id='177543' first='Kara' last='Wynn'] played at a high level from start to finish Sunday. While I have seen lots of videos of Kara, I hadn't seen her in person till Sunday. She was even better in person and really competed. Kara is tall, fast, aggressive, and smart with the ball. She made the plays when they counted and came up huge for her team offensively.
