The competition was tight, and the athletes battled. Here are some must-know 2025s from the Prep Dig Resolution.
Olivia played at libero for Sting 16 Gold who won the 17/18 Open division of the Resolution. She recently transitioned to the position and is just incredible in the back row. She has an insanely high volleyball IQ and reads opponents well. Her court awareness is high-level and she fires on all cylinders ever single point.

Billie is the best I have ever seen her, and I am sure she will continue to improve and impress as the season goes on. She was smart, savvy, and smooth with her sets. Billie runs the offense like a well-oiled machine and isn’t afraid to be aggressive with her choices.

Ava is another athlete who is the best I have ever seen her play. Her court awareness is next-level and her form is clean. Ava brings consistency and grit to the back court. Her experience as a setter means she has clean hands in out of system balls and can set her pins up incredibly well.

Kennedy caught my eye on day 2 of the tournament. She has a great platform and angle to the ball. Her ball control is consistent, and she is scrappy in her play. Kennedy makes it her mission never to let a ball hit the ground. She is an athlete on the rise in the class of 2025.
Claire mainly played in the back row over the weekend but can also swing. Her defense out of the middle back is fun to watch. She seems to pick up everything off the back line. Claire can defend corner to corner and is an offensive option out of the middle back. She is versatile as an athlete and adds value every time she is on the court.
Ellie was an impact player for her Sting 16 White team. She was scrappy and aggressive, working never to let a ball hit the ground. She impressed me on multiple occasions but really stepped up in tough matches to provide a great pass on serve receive and defense for her team. Ellie was a positive influence and was a leader for her team.
Madelyn was a leader on her team this weekend. She has a nice touch on the ball and is an impactful setter. Madelyn has very clean hands and is smart with the ball. She utilizes all of her hitters and is a consistent force for her team. She is disciplined in defense and coverage and works hard every point she is on the court.

Anna caught my eye because she put up a massive block. She is crazy athletic and moves quickly from pin to pin to put up a block. Anna has a lot of potential to impress at a high level. She also has an excellent high-arm swing and is engaged on every point.
Calli is an aggressive and savvy setter. She has a nice jump set and moves the ball around with tempo. Her court awareness is excellent, and she moves the ball around well. She is quick, athletic, and not afraid to make aggressive choices as a setter. Callie sets her team up for success and has a lot of potential.
Kate has an awesome platform and angles to the ball. She gets her feet set on defense and serve receive and has great ball control. She is scrappy and runs down tips and roll shots. Kate is always ready for the ball to come over and has a great serve. She is an athlete that is hard to keep off the court because of the positive impact she makes on every point.
Amara is tall, athletic, and moves quickly across the net. She puts up a massive block, and is hard for opposing hitters to penetrate. She has a positive impact every time she touches the ball and has a high contact point on her swing. Amara is a middle to watch this season as a high-level player on this talented Ice team.
Teegan never fails to impress me when she is on the court. She is dynamic and athletic in all six rotations. Teegan knows how to execute efficiently both in and out of system. She regularly utilizes a toolbox of shots and is always moving her swings around. Teegan can play virtually anywhere on the court and is a high-level athlete on defense and serve receive as well.

Braylin is as scrappy as they come. She is solid and consistent in the back row. Braylin is great in coverage and scrappy on defense. She is quick to react to balls coming over the net on serve receive and defense. Braylin is a well-rounded player that is impactful when she is on the court.
Ava was super aggressive on defense. At one point, I made a note about her from two courts away because she caught my eye on a great defensive play. She will go for any ball on the court and can run down shanked passes by her team. No ball is ever dead when she is in the back row.

Elise has great hands and a high volleyball IQ. She ran a 5-1 for Sting 16 Black and was excellent on every point. Elise puts a fast tempo on the ball and isn’t afraid to move the ball around when she is on the run. I am excited to see what she can do with this offense, especially as she continues to improve her connection with the middles.

Kasey caught my eye because she was engaged in every play. There was never a moment when she wasn’t busy on the court, covering, transitioning to defense, and talking with her team. She ran the back row well and worked to get a touch on every ball that came over the net.
Myla is a pin who is very talented in all six rotations. She is powerful yet smart with her swings. On defense and serve receive she is consistent and rarely makes errors. Myla is a high-volume player – she gets a lot of balls on serve receive and is a go-to hitter for her team.
Madelyn is a gritty athlete who has good hands and a soft touch on the ball. She has a great connection with her hitters and makes good choices on the court. She has a lot of experience, which shows in how she runs her offense. Madelyn is a solid setter and one to watch in the class of 2026.
Jena is another pin who is a high-volume, high-impact player. She has a big swing and is efficient on the court. Her ability to adjust in scramble plays and transition sets her apart. Jena brings a lot of energy and consistency to the court.
Ellieana is playing up a year on Sting 17 White. She is a well-rounded 6-rotation player who can earn points from anywhere on the court. She is talented in serve receive and defense. Ellieana is athletic and swings well in both the front and back row. She has a big vertical and a good balance of power and shots on her swings.
